Learn languages the fun way — swipe, flip, and master new words effortlessly.
WordFlip turns vocabulary learning into an intuitive, satisfying experience. No boring lists. No endless scrolling. Just beautifully animated flash cards that pop right out of the deck and put words front and center.
HOW IT WORKS
Pick your language pair — English to German, Spanish to French, and many more. WordFlip selects 30 words from its curated dataset and deals them out as a fresh deck, ready for you to work through.
Each card slides out of the box in a smooth 3D animation. The front shows you the word in your source language. Swipe left or right to flip the card and reveal the translation — plus a real example sentence so you understand the word in context, not just in isolation.
Done with a card? Swipe down and watch it slide back into the box while the next one rises up. It's quick, clean, and oddly satisfying.
WHY WORDFLIP WORKS
Most vocabulary apps feel like chores. WordFlip feels like a game. The physical act of swiping and flipping creates a stronger mental connection to each word — which means you actually remember them.
3D card animations — cards feel tactile and real, not flat and boring
Example sentences — understand words in context, not just as translations
30 curated words per session — focused enough to finish, varied enough to stay interesting
Multiple language pairs — learn whichever language combination you need
No account required — open the app and start learning immediately
Works offline — learn on the go, no internet needed
PERFECT FOR
→ Beginners building their first vocabulary foundation
→ Travelers picking up essentials before a trip
→ Students looking for a fun supplement to their language course
→ Anyone who's tried other flashcard apps and found them too clunky
SUPPORTED LANGUAGES
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and more — with new language pairs added regularly.
SIMPLE BY DESIGN
WordFlip doesn't try to do everything. It does one thing — vocabulary flashcards — and does it really well. No subscriptions nags on every screen. No gamification gimmicks. Just you and the words.
Download WordFlip and flip your way to fluency.
