Sekou is a Bluetooth mesh messaging app designed for communities where the grid cannot be trusted. No internet. No cell towers. No accounts. No servers. Just your iPhone, the people near you, and a direct line of communication that no infrastructure failure can shut down.
How it works
Sekou connects iPhones directly to each other using Bluetooth. When you send a message, it travels peer to peer through everyone nearby running the app ... even if the original sender is no longer in range. This is called a mesh network. It means a message can travel across a neighborhood, block by block, phone by phone, without ever touching the internet.

Post a status so your family knows you are safe. Share your location with someone who needs to find you. Tap SOS and every nearby Sekou user receives your alert instantly. These are not features built for convenience. They are features built for moments when every second matters.
Privacy and security by design
Your identity in Sekou is a cryptographic key, not a phone number. Contacts are added by scanning each other's QR code in person. Every message is end-to-end encrypted. Nothing is stored on a server because there is no server. Your conversations belong to you and no one else.
