Grift 2.0.0 is a complete rewrite — same app, faster and snappier everywhere. What's new: • Server-side Grift Score. The score now lives on your account and is maintained by Cloud Functions. It's monotonic — posting and getting likes only adds, nothing ever takes points away. • Score tiers. Hit 500 Grift Score and you unlock a 4th daily post. Hit 1,000 and you unlock a 5th. • Peek-back gesture. Drag UP on the foreground feed card to slide the post you just swiped past back into view. Release and it springs back down — preview only, never commits. • Swipe-to-react now has visible feedback. With the Settings → Feed toggle on, swiping right shows a green hue + thumbs-up, swiping left shows red + thumbs-down, both fading in as you drag. • Three app icons. Pick Orange (default), Green, or Purple in Settings → Appearance. • Bouncing Grift wordmark splash on cold launch. • Compose tab opens straight on the video picker now. Photo is still one tap away. • Profile pictures now crop to a square before upload. • Posts auto-expire after 3 days (was 5). • Smoother video playback via a new preload pool — the next three videos initialize in the background so they start instantly when you reach them. • Pull-to-refresh on the "all caught up" screen. • Landscape mode — turn your phone sideways for landscape posts to fill the screen. • Sign in with Apple reliability fixes. • New: block accounts — tap the small hand icon next to Follow on any post, or use the ‘Block’ option in the user’s profile menu. Blocked accounts disappear from your feed in both directions • New: Grift Score — a per-user engagement metric (likes + posts × 5) shown on profiles, in the post header, and on the Top Grifters leaderboard • New: Settings → “Swipe to react” toggle (off by default). When on, swipe right to like and swipe left to dislike, with the previous animation. Otherwise swipes just advance the feed and reactions are tap-only • Fixed a bug where rapidly toggling between like and dislike could make the counts drift out of sync • Fixed the photo carousel showing the wrong photo on cards with more than two photos • Profile photo uploads now surface an alert when they fail instead of failing silently, and other users’ profiles refresh from the server when opened so a stale avatar can’t linger • Video posts are now capped at 1 minute (was 2) for faster, more reliable uploads • The post header is now opaque with rounded corners so the name, handle, and Grift Score are always readable

Bug fixes: • Fixed a crash when tapping Record on the video composer. • Follow button now responds correctly when tapped on a post. • Posts you've already swiped past stay gone after closing and reopening the app. • Tap your own posts in the Me tab to see a full preview, not just the comments. • Long-press a post in the Me tab to delete it. • Fixed phantom "0 photos" duplicate posts that appeared on your profile after posting.
