Generate AI imagery on Mac with variant families, a prompt library, per-project budgets, and an iCloud-backed asset library — built for creative pros. Image Asset Manager is a native macOS and iPad app (coming soon) for creative professionals who use AI image generation in their work. It brings the discipline of a real asset library to AI imagery: every prompt, variant, project, and pound spent is tracked, organised, and easy to retrieve later. GENERATE WITH CONTROL • Four model tiers across Google's Imagen 4 and Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, routed automatically based on whether you need references or pure speed. • Reference images carry a role — style anchor or subject anchor — with up to three per prompt. • Per-generation budget guardrails: set a maximum cost in GBP and an image cap, and the app refuses to overspend. • Auto-routing falls back to the right model when your selected tier can't handle the references you've attached. ORGANISE LIKE A PRO • Variant families group iterations of the same concept. Every asset belongs to a family, so nothing ends up as an orphan PNG. • Clients and projects with proper structure. Assets can belong to multiple projects, with a designated primary. • Tags, prompts, and reference sets are all first-class objects — searchable, exportable, and durable across migrations. • A native three-panel macOS layout: Source Panel, content grid, and inspector. Adaptive two-column NavigationSplitView on iPad. PROMPT LIBRARY • Save, version, and reuse prompts as plain markdown. • Refine prompts with Claude before you spend a penny on generation. • Subject-Context-Style structured authoring, flattened automatically to provider-ready prose. SPEND DASHBOARD • Swift Charts visualises spend by day, model, and project on macOS. • Every generation logs both estimated and actual cost in GBP. • Read-only spend view on iPad so you can keep an eye on burn from anywhere. STORAGE & SYNC • iCloud Drive holds the entire library — open the same library on Mac and iPad seamlessly. • Choose a custom library location if iCloud isn't where you want it. • SQLite database plus an atomic JSON index, so your data stays portable and inspectable. • API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain — never in iCloud, never in your library files. CLAUDE CODE INTEGRATION • A built-in MCP server exposes the library to Claude Code with nine tools: search assets, fetch lineage, list projects, query spend, manage prompts, and generate new images directly from your terminal. • Read-only tools work offline against the JSON index when the app isn't running.
