City Hubs — find new players near you Every city gets one open Tennis Hub — Denver first, more as the community grows. Find yours under Community → City Hubs, join in a tap, and see what's on: hits and polls posted by players nearby, each showing the organizer's NTRP level. Set your NTRP level once and you're in. Subscribe to the right hits Tap "Subscribe to events" on a hub and choose an organizer NTRP range, a max distance from your home court, and whether to include events with no location yet. Your default availability applies automatically. Matching events land on your dashboard and in your notifications — nothing else does. Know who you're hitting with The organizer's NTRP shows on every event row and roster, and a hub's Members tab has "Same NTRP" and "Same Court" filters. Invite anyone to your private group Share an invite link by Messages or email — whether or not they're on Royal M yet. They land in your group the moment they sign up. Message your group mates New Message now offers everyone in your private groups, not just friends.

Pull-to-refresh fixes. Swiping down to refresh could fail with an error reading "cancelled" instead of loading. Refreshing now updates in place and leaves your screen where it was. Fewer false errors. Leaving a screen or switching tabs while something was still loading could surface an error that wasn't real. Those are gone.

Mute and delete conversations. Swipe left on any thread to silence its notifications (it keeps its unread badge) or remove it from your list. Others keep their copy, and new messages bring a deleted thread back. Stay signed in. Your session now renews itself as you use the app — the login screen only reappears after 90 days away. A smoother start. Signup is down to the essentials, with an optional tennis profile step right after. A dismissible "Ready to play?" guide on the Dashboard walks you through your first steps, and the app now asks about notifications when it actually makes sense (and gives you a way back if you said "maybe later"). Fixes and polish: the message box no longer hides behind the keyboard when opening a new thread, "Load earlier messages" keeps your scroll position, chat previews update live as messages arrive, and the Dashboard refreshes itself whenever you come back to it.

React to messages. Long-press any chat message to drop a Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, Laughing, or Question reaction — iMessage-style. Reactions sync live to everyone in the thread. Fill out polls in one tap. The new Suggest from Calendar button on a poll reads your device calendar and pre-fills the times you're actually free. You review and confirm — and it all stays on your phone; nothing about your calendar is ever uploaded. Set your default availability. In Profile → Tennis, pick the slots you usually play each day of the week. Calendar suggestions respect it, so if you only play weekday evenings you'll never get suggested a free morning. Bug fixes and enhancements across chat.

Direct messages are here. Tap the new compose button on the Messages tab to start a 1-on-1 chat with any friend — then use the Direct filter to jump straight to your 1-on-1 conversations. Light mode. Head to Profile → General and pick System, Light, or Dark. System follows your device — including its scheduled day/night switch — so Royal M looks right around the clock. Additional bug fixes.

Each option shows its time range, and you can choose more than one. • A cleaner poll layout — Your Availability, Responses, and All Player Availability now each have their own section. • See overlaps at a glance — every result shows a row of player circles for who's free; press and hold a circle to see names. • Pick a start and end date — polls now use a simple date range instead of a number of weeks. • New "Poll complete" alert — get notified the moment everyone you invited has responded. What's New in 1.2.0 Availability Polls, reimagined Polls are now a type of event, and anyone can create one — not just group leaders. Invited players tap the days that work for them (morning, evening, or all day), and the most popular times rise to the top. Polls live right on your dashboard, you can see who's responded vs. still pending, and you can turn a winning time into a real event in a single tap. Smarter time-slot voting When an event has multiple time options, you now vote Best, Works, or Can't Make on each slot instead of a single yes. Tap any slot to see exactly who picked what. Organizers can also choose who locks in the final time — just the creator and group leaders, or any player. Friends list upgrades Each friend now shows their NTRP level and preferred court's city/state at a glance, and the list is sorted alphabetically by first name.
