Waypoint (WYPNT)

Waypoint is the motorcycle tourism app for riders tired of asking "where should we ride this weekend?" and waiting for an answer.
Pick a destination. Ride to it. Come home with proof you were there.
- FIND SOMEWHERE WORTH RIDING TO
Curated destinations across the Philippines ridge viewpoints, lighthouses, mountain passes, coastal stops each with photos and the details you want before you commit. Browse by region, terrain, and difficulty. When one catches your eye, tap Organize a Ride Here and your plan starts from that destination.
- RIDE EVENTS: BRING THE CREW
The rides board is where trips actually get organized. Build a ride with the route wizard, set your meetup and departure, and let riders join with the bike they're bringing. Everyone sees the rider list, the road distance from meetup to destination, and a countdown to roll-out.
Share a ride as a card, a QR code, or a link that opens a real web page so the rider who hasn't installed anything yet still sees the plan. When departure comes, Ride Now launches navigation, and your next ride waits at the top of home in the Trip Deck.
- ARRIVE, AND KEEP IT
Arriving is the part that counts. Your destination is pinned on your ride map and your share card, and your ride history keeps a trophy summary of every place you've reached.
Your Passport collects a stamp for each Philippine region you ride into 18 regions, 18 stamps, and the only way to fill it is to actually go. It's also your rider identity: bio, bikes, badges, riding history, shareable by QR or link. Follow other riders and see where they've been.
- POINTS FOR THE KILOMETERS
Riding earns points. Rewards is split into a Shop and Missions, with a claim badge on your home screen whenever points are waiting for you.
- YOUR GARAGE
Add your motorcycles, upload photos, track mileage, log your mods. Your garage is the record of what you ride and everything it has covered and it's what makes fuel estimates match your bike instead of your riding buddy's.
- BEFORE YOU ROLL OUT
Fuel cost estimates tuned to your bike and your distance. Routes with checkpoints so you know where the stops are. Reviews from riders who have already ridden it, road conditions, highlights, what's worth pulling over for.
- ALSO NEW IN 2.0
Story Mode onboarding: a cinematic walkthrough that sets up your profile and your bike, ending with your Passport awakening and your engine turning over. Replay it any time. A deep navy dark theme across every screen. A floating nav bar with Quick Actions and a live ride timer.
No ads. No subscription. No interruptions mid-ride.
Built by a Filipino rider, for anyone who would rather be on the road than in a comment thread.
Plan less. Ride more.

Introducing the redesigned Passport, a Region Stamps collection, and a smarter Ride Estimate!
Your riding story gets a glow-up — a cleaner Passport with a live map of where you've been, a full stamp collection to chase, and fuel estimates that finally use real prices.
Redesigned Passport
- A fresh, full-screen Passport with the Waypoint mark up top and a clean Philippine region map.
- Watch the map fill in as you ride — collected regions light up in Waypoint blue.
- Regions Visited counter shows your progress at a glance, like 8 / 17.
- Current Level card with your rank badge, a progress bar, and how far you are from the next rank.
Region Stamps
- Browse every Philippine region stamp in one grid, with All Regions and Collected tabs.
- Tap any stamp to see its landmark, its story, and whether you've collected it.
- Collected stamps show the exact date you earned them.
Smarter Ride Estimate
- Live fuel prices now power your cost estimate — no more guessing.
- New Terrain Breakdown card shows the mix of road types with clear percentages, your most common terrain, and an estimated riding style.
- Open See Fuel Prices without losing your estimate behind it.
- Pick the exact bike you're estimating for, every time.
Polish
- Cleaner, consistent headers across the new Passport and Stamps screens.
- A clearer fuel hint — real mileage still depends on your throttle habits.
- Updated background location disclosure to meet store policy.

1.20.1 Jun 11
Introducing Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, and Verified Rider Callbacks!
Tap one button to text your emergency contact your live location, find a bike hauler when you break down, and get a callback on a phone number that's actually yours.
Emergency SOS
- New red SOS chip lives on every ride HUD and in the side drawer — one tap pulls up a confirm dialog, the next sends your emergency contact your GPS location via SMS.
- Confirmation screen opens instantly with a SENDING status — no staring at a spinner while the network does its thing. Status flips to Sent, Queued, or Failed once the server answers.
- Failed or queued? A Retry button appears so you can re-fire the SMS without leaving the screen.
- Direct Call buttons for your emergency contact right on the confirmation screen.
- Cancel is one tap with a confirm — the screen closes immediately and the cancel SMS fires in the background.
- Confirming SOS pauses your active ride so the clock and distance freeze while you handle the situation.
- Three-tier location capture (fresh → last-known → unavailable) so the trigger never blocks waiting for GPS.
Roadside Assistance
- Brand-new Assistance menu (separate from SOS, neutral styling) with Mechanical, First Aid, and Report an incident — the latter two ship soon.
- Bike Hauling: a clean list of active haulers near you, each with an icon-only Send SMS button that flips to a checkmark once dispatched.
- 3-dot menu on every hauler row for Visit Page and Call shortcuts.
- LifeBuoy button on the Expedition and Just Ride HUDs for one-tap access mid-ride.
Verified Rider Callbacks
- Add and verify your phone number with a 6-digit OTP straight from Edit Profile.
- Verified / Unverified badge on the Phone row mirrors the Email row.
- PH-friendly input: type 09xxxxxxxxx or +639xxxxxxxxx and we normalise it for you.
- Editing a verified number shows an amber warning that saving will clear verification until you confirm a new code.
Polish
- Pending referral bonus badge moved from Redeem Points to Refer a Friend — claim it where you actually invite friends.
- Emergency confirmation screen now respects the Dynamic Island and notch on iOS modals.
- HUD layout reworked: SOS and Assistance live on the right edge, recenter and checkpoint FAB on the left — no more accidental SOS taps near the close button.
1.19.4 May 23
Introducing Stamp Sharing, Smarter Update Prompts, and Clearer Location Permissions!
Show off every region stamp you earn with a branded share card, see the right update prompt for your platform, and get a plain-spoken explainer before we ask for location.
Passport Stamp Sharing
- Tap any earned stamp in your Passport and a new share icon appears next to the close button.
- Generates an Instagram-ready card with your stamp pressed onto it like a real passport mark — dashed oval ring, ink band, and the WAYPOINT logo up top.
- HD region artwork sits front and centre so the image stays crisp at story-size.
- Footer carries your personal referral link, and the share sheet pre-fills a caption so anyone who taps drops straight into Waypoint.
Smarter Update Prompts
- The force-update gate now reads the minimum supported version per platform — no more iOS riders being nagged because Android shipped a fix first.
- Falls back gracefully if the server is unreachable so you're never locked out by a network hiccup.
- Update card refreshes every launch instead of trusting stale cached data, so you always see the latest requirement.
Clearer Location Permissions
- New plain-spoken onboarding disclosure spells out exactly what we use GPS for: planning routes, recording rides (including in the background), expedition checkpoints, and spot discovery.
- Background-location explainer rewritten with the same clarity, plus a "Not now" decline button if you'd rather wait.
- Explicit Accept / No thanks buttons throughout — no more guessing what the OS prompt will ask next.
Polish
- Share card footer copy refreshed across the app — "Create your own journey at wypnt.app/…" replaces the old planning line.
- WAYPOINT logo now anchors the top-right of stamp share cards for a cleaner brand mark.
1.17.1 May 20
Introducing Google Maps Import on Estimates and a Share-Card Bike Picker!
Drop a Google Maps share link straight into the Estimate flow, and pick exactly which bike's fuel cost shows on your shared route card.
Google Maps Import on Estimates
- Paste a Google Maps share link into the Route Estimate origin or destination and we'll resolve it into a place automatically.
- Same one-tap import experience you already use in Create Route — no more retyping addresses you already have on your phone.
- Works with full-length and shortened (goo.gl/maps) links.
- Falls back gracefully if the link can't be resolved, so you can keep typing without losing your spot.
Share-Card Bike Picker
- A new bike pill sits right above the share preview — tap it to swap which bike's fuel cost is featured on the card.
- The sheet matches the share flow with a dedicated "Choose bike for share" mode and lazy-loads fuel estimates as you switch.
- 6-second timeout per estimate so a slow network doesn't stall the share flow.
- Your last pick is remembered for the session.
Polish
- Passport stamp details are now legible in both light and dark mode — black glyph on white card stock.
- QR card no longer bleeds onto the stamps page when you swipe between Passport pages.
- Landscape stamp detail finally centres correctly on Android.
- Lifetime mileage in the side drawer now shows 2 decimal places, so short rides actually move the needle.
1.1.20 May 18
Introducing the Expedition Redesign and Route Share Cards!
Ride a fully live map with a hero HUD, geofenced checkpoints, and a pause button — then share any saved route as an Instagram-ready card right from the route detail screen.
Expedition Redesign
- Full-bleed live Mapbox map with course-mode follow, your rider puck, and a 300m geofence ring that fills as you close in on the next checkpoint.
- New floating HUD with hero distance-to-checkpoint, live elapsed timer, distance traveled, and current speed.
- Stories-style segmented progress bar at the top — see at a glance which checkpoint you're on and how many are left.
- Active checkpoint name and category icon now read out in the HUD so you always know what you're heading toward.
- Live rider trail polyline draws behind your puck so you can see exactly where you've been.
- Active checkpoint segment animates with a shimmer sweep — subtle but unmistakable.
- ARRIVED button promotes itself the moment you enter the geofence, with success haptics and a 3-fix debounce so it doesn't flicker.
- NAVIGATE and Skip buttons reorganized into a clean three-button CTA row.
- Pause button in the header freezes ride tracking when you stop for fuel or photos — no more inflated distance.
Route Share Cards
- Tap Share on any saved route to generate a 1080×1920 Instagram-ready card with your route pinned on a static map.
- Cards show distance, ETA, fuel cost, weather, terrain breakdown, and your bike — same visual language as the Ad-Hoc Estimate card.
- Tap-to-share now shows an immediate spinner while we prep the image, so you know it's working.
Polish
- Android spotlights in the in-app tour now align to the right elements.
- Legacy welcome screen no longer reappears after onboarding.
- RouteDetail tour disabled while we tune it.
1.1.17 May 13
Introducing Bike Maintenance Logs, Ad-Hoc Ride Estimates, and Join Links!
Track every service on every bike, plan a ride in seconds without saving it, and tap a wypnt.app/join link to drop straight into the app.
Bike Maintenance Logs
- A new MAINTENANCE section on every bike — log oil changes, chain cleans, tire swaps, brakes, coolant, spark plugs, air filters, or your own custom items.
- Set km-based or date-based reminders. We'll fire a local notification the moment a reminder hits its target.
- Tap a notification and land directly on the maintenance item. Tap any service in the history preview to edit or delete it inline.
- Logged a service with a higher odometer than your bike's saved mileage? We'll prompt you to update the bike too, so km-based reminders stay accurate.
- Stale-mileage nudge appears when your odometer hasn't been updated in 7+ days, keeping km reminders honest.
- Re-tapping a preset that already exists jumps you straight to that item's log screen instead of creating a duplicate.
Ad-Hoc Ride Estimates
- Plan any ride on the fly without saving it — distance, ETA, fuel, weather, and terrain breakdown all in one call.
- Schedule your departure up to 7 days ahead so the forecast and ETA reflect the moment you'll actually ride.
- Weather chips now show split DEPART / ARRIVE times with a "next day" flag when your ride spills past midnight.
- Departure picker commits the moment you spin it — no more hunting for a Done button.
- Share an Instagram-ready card with your route pinned on a static map and per-checkpoint A/B/C markers.
- No bike in your garage? We fall back to a 35 km/L · RON 91 baseline so the estimate still makes sense.
- Origin and destination accept plain-text search or a "Pin on map" picker.
Refer A Friend
- The referral bonus claim lives on the Refer A Friend screen now — claim your reward right where you invite friends, not buried in the Points hub.
Join Links
- Tap a wypnt.app/join link anywhere and it opens Waypoint directly — no browser detour. Works on iOS Universal Links and Android App Links.
Polish
- Add, Log Service, and Set Reminder are full-screen flows now — smoother back navigation and no fiddly drag-to-dismiss.
- Bottom sheets across the app now drag to dismiss from anywhere on the sheet, even over form fields.
- iOS date pickers in maintenance forms switched to a clean spinner wheel.
- Maintenance section sits below MODIFICATIONS on the bike detail screen — closer to your recent rides where you actually need it.
1.1.16 May 8
