This update improves navigation, events, and drive planning across Driftd. You can now search for destinations from the map, prepare a route, and start a drive more smoothly. Event directions now open into Driftd routing when available, with Apple Maps as a fallback. CarPlay has been upgraded with better destination search, route-drive handoff, active-drive controls, and clearer navigation status while driving. Events now refresh more reliably after location becomes available, with cleaner upcoming event lists and radius filtering. We also improved chat image and link preview performance, plus fixed several map, drive session, and routing polish issues.

Squads & sharing Shared tab on squad detail — new tab between Events and Grid with filter chips (All, Photos, Videos, Links, Routes, Places). Gallery grids use uniform square tiles; admins can long-press to delete. Saved routes can be shared to squad chat with map preview cards. Fixed empty/flicker on first open and when switching filters. Route sharing — Share Route from Profile, Map Routes menu, and route options (squad chat + external share). Shared With You in Routes is populated from squad shares; shared route cards open on the map. Shared tab polish — Route rows use the same green route icon as Profile (not map thumbnails). Shared All tab is more reliable when summary API fails (fallback + retry). Shared routes show correctly in Routes and All. Add Member — Removed invite balance / earn-at-level copy; Copy link and Invite by SMS are always available for owners/admins. Invites & signup Profile Invite — Top-left Invite on your profile fetches your permanent signup link and opens the system share sheet. Signup with squad invite — Optional squad invite link/code on the name step; validated before account creation and auto-joins when bound (no second deep-link tap). Sign-in copy — Phone field now says US or Canadian number (subtitle, hint, and validation). Chat & events Past events — Squad and DM chat no longer show RSVP on ended events; shows “This event has ended” instead.

Driftd gets smoother drives, cleaner events, and richer garage details. Active Quick and Route drives can now keep tracking more reliably in the background after permission, while non-drive sharing still stays When In Use. Events are easier to browse with a combined Upcoming list, Squad event creation is cleaner, and invite screens now show how many signup invites you have left. We also improved chat history recovery, rapid replies, profile stats refresh, Squad mute copy, and overall map marker reliability.

New in this version: Driftd now gives you three ways to start a drive: Quick Drive Hit the road without planning ahead. Start driving, and save a drive summary to your profile. Route Drive Follow a saved route with checkpoints and route progress, built for planned drives and structured outings. Go Live Broadcast your live drive location to selected Squads so friends can follow along in real time.
