This update is a deep accuracy pass. Dozens of fixes, all pointed at the same idea: what VeraCast tells you should be true. Moonrise and moonset were off by hours. They are correct now, and the night sky reading can finally name the planets that are actually overhead. Saved cities sync to Apple Watch. Pick a city on your iPhone and your watch follows, complications included. Switching cities is honest again. Air quality, tides, and the radar map used to hold onto the previous city for up to an hour. They update the moment you switch. Watching a city in another time zone? Hourly forecasts, sunrise, sunset, and tide times now show that city's local clock instead of your phone's. Severe weather alerts hold up during big storms. The alert system used to strain when a single watch covered dozens of counties, which is exactly when it matters most. Also: allergy cards say "data unavailable" instead of showing a false all clear, UV and temperature swing notifications land on the right day, and widgets no longer show sample data before your first forecast loads. Your daily briefing now fires at the exact minute you set, not the top of the hour. Air quality no longer reads Good when the data is incomplete. VeraCast 2.0 brings faster, more reliable weather alerts and a smarter Now Brief. Faster, more reliable alerts: severe weather alerts now come straight from our servers, so they reach you quickly, even if VeraCast isn't running. Act on an alert right from the notification: view radar, snooze for 30 minutes, or dismiss. Smarter Now Brief: your spoken weather report now flows naturally from card to card instead of repeating "Today in your city" every time, and it speaks a little faster too. Now Brief can also read your Air Quality, Tide, Horoscope, and Pet cards. Under the hood, we added extra safeguards to keep your AI weather briefing loading quickly and reliably. This update fixes a handful of bugs found during a full app audit. Fixed, onboarding now always walks you through location and notification permissions, even if you subscribe to Premium right away. Fixed, the pressure trend arrow now reflects a true 3 hour window, it was reading 2 hours before. Fixed, rain timing on the Today card now shows the correct clock time when you're viewing a saved city in a different time zone. Dark mode is now the default. Prefer light? Switch anytime in Settings, Theme. Rain chance is now forward looking, so the headline number matches the hourly forecast and the timing window. Times are now correct for every location. Sunrise, sunset, moon, and hourly times show in the local time of the city you're viewing, even in other time zones. The Details card now follows your unit choices for wind, pressure, and visibility. More accurate daily AI briefing and pet walk guidance, plus various bug fixes and polish.

This update improves reliability and accuracy. We fixed a rare crash while loading the forecast, made Apple Watch complications show live local weather, corrected tide times to display in the tide station's time zone, and brought air quality alerts in line with official EPA categories. Fixed an issue where the AI Briefing could occasionally be cut off before finishing, so you'll now always get the full forecast summary. Also tightened up temperature readings so the numbers in your briefing match the rest of the app.

Version 1.0.2 adds full Spanish (es) localization across the app interface. There are no new features, no new permissions, and no changes to data collection or third-party SDKs. The app language follows the device's system language automatically. To review the Spanish interface, set the test device's primary language to Spanish (Settings > General > Language & Region); the UI, notifications, and AI-generated text will then display in Spanish.
