SEAL turns a spoken agreement into a sealed receipt.
You lend a friend money, agree on a freelance fee, sell a phone or book a service. With SEAL you write down exactly what was agreed and send it to the other person; it is sealed once they approve. The result is one fixed record for both of you, with a code anyone can use to check its status.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a template: debt/loan, freelance work, sale, appointment/service or contractor.
2. Fill in the details. A receipt holds 3 to 9 numbered items: SEAL writes them from your answers, and you can add your own. Not finished? Tap "Save as draft" and continue later from Archive > Drafts.
3. Tap "Send Receipt" and pair with the other person. They join with a 6-character code, by scanning your QR code or by opening your invite link. The code works once and expires after 30 minutes. You can also pair first from the Home screen.
4. The receipt lands in their Incoming tab. They can approve it, suggest an edit or reject it. You can accept or reject their changes until you agree on one version.
5. When the latest version is approved, the receipt is sealed. A sealed receipt cannot be edited; if the terms change, you create a new one.
AFTER IT IS SEALED
- Download a PDF of the sealed receipt with the content hash, the parties' details, a QR code and the verification link.
- Anyone with the receipt code can check its status at getseal.app/verify, without the app. The public page shows the subject, the parties' names, masked phone numbers, dates and the audit records. The agreement's items are not shown there; in the app, only the two of you can open them.
- Your receipts are listed in your Archive, with filters for drafts, sealed, pending and rejected.
HOW SEAL KEEPS THE RECORD HONEST
- Each step on a receipt — sending, suggested edits, approval, rejection — is added to an append-only audit chain linked with SHA-256 hashes, so changing or removing an entry in the middle of the chain is detectable.
- Each approval is recorded with a cryptographic key created on your phone. The private key stays in your phone's secure storage.
- Approving a receipt someone sends you asks for Face ID or Touch ID when it is set up on your device.
- No passwords, no email: you verify your phone number once with a code sent over WhatsApp.
- Notifications tell you when a receipt arrives, when changes are suggested and when it is sealed.
GOOD TO KNOW
- A receipt is made by two people, so the other person also needs SEAL on their phone.
- SEAL works in English, Turkish and Arabic.
- SEAL keeps a clear, checkable record of what was agreed. It is not a notary service and does not replace formal procedures such as title deeds or notarized contracts.
SEAL PLUS
Creating and sending a new receipt requires a SEAL Plus subscription, monthly or yearly. Eligible new subscribers get their first 3 months free. The price in your local currency is shown in the app and on the purchase sheet before you confirm.
Free with or without Plus: filling in templates and saving drafts, reading your receipts, reviewing, approving or suggesting changes to receipts other people send you, downloading the PDF of any sealed receipt you are a party to, public verification and your archive. The other person never needs a subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm, or when your free period ends if you get one. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your SEAL account does not cancel the subscription.
