New in Kroni Family: a weekly savings bonus. Pick 1, 2 or 5%, and every Sunday each child gets that share of their savings, paid by you. Tasks and Rewards show a badge when your child sends a chore suggestion or a wish. You can now hide the family challenge. Lists are no longer cut off above the tab bar, and taking money out warns you before a balance goes below zero. Sign in with Apple now tells you what to do if it fails.

Approve all of a child's chores with one tap, and record a chore your child did yesterday. Siblings can share "First to do it takes it" chores, and chores can repeat every other week for children who live in two homes. A shared tablet opens on a board of who still has chores left. Savings goals now fill up as your child earns, and money you pay out shows as Paid out in the history.

You can now set a weekly goal for each child and follow the progress together. Chores count by what they're worth, on the day your child did them, even if you approve them later. Add a bonus that is paid when the goal is reached, and choose whether tax applies. Your child gets a celebration when the goal is reached and sees how many weeks in a row they made it. You get an overview of the last 4 or 8 weeks.

Children can now take turns on a chore. Pick two or more and Kroni shares out the days in order. You can skip a turn or give it to a sibling. A one-time chore can now wait for a set date, and you can copy a chore with all its settings. After handing your phone to a child, you can get back to parent mode with Sign in with Apple. We also fixed a few sign-up and sign-in bugs.

Your widgets now keep themselves up to date, even when Kroni is closed. The waiting count on your Home Screen and Lock Screen follows along as chores come in, the kid widget starts each new day on its own, and a widget that hasn't heard from Kroni for a while shows when it last updated. You can also see a chore's next days before you save it, and the next payday when you set up allowance.

Plans change, so chores can bend with them. Give a kid a day off, skip a single day or hand a chore to a sibling. Today and the widget stay in step. You can now sign in with Apple. If you already use a password, nothing changes. The free trial now shows exactly what happens and when, and you can delete your account from Settings whenever you want to.

Kroni now works with VoiceOver and TalkBack. Chores, rewards and buttons are read out in your own language, and the app tells you what happened when you approve work, save a change or restore a purchase. Text can grow to twice the size without cutting words off, and a new High contrast setting under Language & appearance makes colours stronger. Text on the celebration screen is readable again in dark mode.

Kroni now has home screen widgets. Kids see what is still left today, and you see how much is waiting for you. A reward countdown shows while it runs, without opening the app. You can also close the week together. See what each child got done, write them a few words, and share a card of the week if you want to. Closing changes nothing about allowance.

Approve a finished chore straight from the notification, without opening Kroni. You can also choose to be told the moment a child finishes something. Children now see what is waiting for a grown-up and can send one gentle reminder. Rewards can last a set time, with a countdown the child can follow. And a chore you send back can be done again the same day.

Focus mode is here. Turn it on for a child and their Today screen shows one chore at a time, with optional steps to tick off and a calm countdown. Nothing bad happens if the time runs out. You can now choose your language right on the sign-in screen, before you even have an account. Kroni also fits tablets properly now and rotates with them. Plus faster photos on the approvals screen and a batch of small fixes.

Rewards in two steps: approving a request spends the money, and you mark it received or done when it happens. Cancel and the money goes back. Your home shows what is waiting for you, plus an optional weekly family review. Choose your own notification times and types, separately per parent. Settings is reorganized, and profile switching now lives there. On a shared phone, you sign in to return to parent mode. Now supports CAD, AUD and NZD.

Chores that fit real life: set a chore to a few times a week, every other week or once a month, and let your kid pick the days. Change which kid a chore belongs to without recreating it. Kids see how often each chore repeats and their progress for the week. Kids can now suggest chores and wish for rewards, and you add them with one tap. Pairing a kid's phone is easier with a QR code. Plus smaller fixes and improvements.

New: Tax. Turn it on for your family and a percent or a fixed amount of every reward and allowance goes to a family pot you can name, or simply disappears. Kids see what they earned, what went to tax and what they kept. Spend the pot on something for the whole family, or pay it back to the kids. Kids can now get notifications too, if they say yes. Inviting another parent by email now works. Tap Send by email and your mail app opens with the invitation ready to send. The Family plan page no longer comes up blank after a poor connection. It retries on its own and loads properly when you come back to it. Kroni also copes better when several people in the family are using the app at the same time.

Fixed a few language slip-ups. Task repeat options and invite code expiry now show in your app language instead of always Norwegian. Badge names no longer get cut off when your child celebrates a finished chore. The Family plan screen is easier to read too.

Give a month, get a month! Share your referral code with another family. When their first chore is approved, both families get a month of Kroni Family. Kids get a little payday celebration when allowance day arrives, and completed goals can be shared as a picture. New: a weekly family summary every Sunday, plus a quicker start for new families with ready-made chore suggestions.

Big update with three new features. Saving jars: kids set money aside toward a goal, for themselves or to give to charity, and you can match what they save. Family challenges: set one shared goal, and when everyone's chores reach it, every kid earns a prize. Photo proof: ask for a photo when a chore is done, check it before you approve, and choose how long photos are kept.

Saving goals just got more fun. Your kids can now choose how a goal looks: a glass that fills up, a growing tree, a climbing rocket, a coin jar, or a progress ring. Tap a goal to see it fill the whole screen. You can also switch the app to light or dark mode, or let it follow your device.

Fixes a display issue where the profile bar at the top of the app stayed light while your device was in dark mode.

What's new: Kids now earn badges and build daily streaks for keeping up with their chores, with a streak freeze to save a streak if they miss a day. Kroni is ready for families anywhere: choose your currency, set your time zone so chores and allowance reset at your own local midnight, and get notifications in your language.

What's new: A profile bar across the top of every screen lets you switch between parent and kid with one tap. Creating a shared task now shows what each kid will earn in their own currency.

What's new: Savings goals: kids can set a goal like a new toy and watch their progress grow. Per-kid currency: give each child their own unit, with 16 to choose from. Task due times: give a chore a time of day and get a reminder near the deadline. Faster profile switching: jump between profiles without pairing codes. Changed your mind? You now have 24 hours to undo any approval. The balance reverses and your kid sees it in their history. New: optional chore reminders at your chosen time, with a switch per kid. Notes when adjusting a balance manually. "See the kid app" preview from settings. Fixes: kid Rewards and Balance tabs no longer crash. Privacy and Terms links work on the latest iOS.
