New: a Home tab with live standings for the tournaments you follow, Warhammer Community news and Shorts — plus alerts the moment a round posts or an event finishes. Augur is the dice-statistics companion for Warhammer: The Old World. It turns every to-hit, to-wound, save, charge, and casting roll into the exact probability distribution — the maths you'd otherwise scribble on the back of a roster sheet, made instant and tappable. DICE STATISTICS • The dice lab — chain a full hit → wound → save → ward sequence in one pass and read the exact distribution of wounds, not just an average, alongside a sample roll log. • Rerolls, your way — set reroll rules for failures and successes independently on each step: any miss, successful 6s, or a failed hit into a harder target. Every die is only ever rerolled once. • Stack your attacks — combine several attack chains in one sequence and the forecast totals their wounds, so a unit, its champion, and a mount resolve together. Add stomp or impact auto-hits at their own Strength. ODDS FOR EVERY PHASE • Charge — charge-range distributions for any unit. Reroll one or both dice, add Swiftstride, model difficult terrain, and read the cumulative odds for every distance. • Spells — casting and dispel rolls with bonuses, channelled dice, irresistible force, and miscast probability. Plan your magic phase before you commit a die. • Templates — expected hits from blast and teardrop templates against ranked units of any frontage, file count, and base size. Tap to scatter a round template and forecast where the hits land, with a no-line-of-sight toggle and a misfire shake. • Cannon — Monte-Carlo cannon fire against a ranked target. Drag the cannon and aim point, see expected hits, misfire and bounce rates, then Fire for one rolled shot. • Leadership — break, panic, and psychology tests with modifiers, rerolls, and inspiring presence. Choose 2D6, 3D6 Maximise or 3D6 Minimise. See the chance to hold before you make the player roll. • Combat result — tally each side's combat-result modifiers, see who wins by how much, and read the loser's break-test pass rate by Leadership as a curve. RUN THE GAME • Score — keep the running total for both sides during a matched-play game. Pick a primary scoring table, layer in secondary objectives, and track per-turn scoring with a live timer. • Rules — verbatim quick-reference tables you actually roll on (panic, miscast, stomp, terrain, scattering, and more), grouped by category and searchable with typo tolerance. The community FAQ is indexed alongside the rulebook, so you can look up an answer mid-game. FOLLOW THE TOURNAMENTS • Home — recent results from the big events, Warhammer Community news, and creator Shorts in one feed, with live top-three standings for the tournaments you follow. • Tournaments — browse Old World events from Best Coast Pairings, NewRecruit, and The Old World Federation in one searchable list. Open one for standings, round pairings, team scores, and the army lists players actually brought. • Alerts — favourite a tournament and opt in to a notification when each round's results are posted and when it finishes, including who is leading and with which army. BUILD YOUR LIST • Armies — build army lists for every faction. Pick a subfaction, add units from the full catalog, and kit them out with gear, command, and magic items — the verbatim item and special rules are one tap away. Points and category limits update as you build, and you can export the finished list as text. Reorder or hide tabs to match how you play. Augur is an unofficial fan-made probability tool. 1.13.1 — A real library for your saved dice sequences, and tournament write-ups in the app. • Saved dice sequences now have a proper library. Search across both the name and the recipe, so "killing blow" or "1d6" finds a profile whose name says nothing about how it rolls. • Sort the library by most recent, by name, or by average damage — every row shows its recipe and an approximate average. • Rename, duplicate, delete and pin are on a visible menu on each row, instead of hiding behind a long press. • The favourites strip is now a shortcut rather than the whole collection: pinned first, then most recently loaded, with everything else behind Browse all. Its actions read Browse / Update / Save, and loading a favourite no longer reshuffles the strip under your finger. • Select several saved sequences and merge them into one total, with a branch for each — useful for a model whose attacks come from more than one profile. • Comparing sequences side by side has been removed. Merging replaces it. • Lucky Heirloom: give the to-hit or to-wound roll an allowance of extra re-rolls, capped at a set number of failed dice rather than applying to the whole pool. • Every rule control on a stage card now has an ⓘ that opens the rule text it is modelling. • The Spells chart prints the roll it is built from underneath, the way the Charge chart already does — so you can check the dice match what you meant. • Tournaments have a Details view carrying the organiser's write-up, and any links in it are lifted into a card at the top so the event pack isn't buried mid-paragraph. • Tournaments run on Best Coast Pairings can now be featured on the home screen. • Charge: the maximum declarable range now takes Movement modifiers into account, so charging through difficult terrain — and cancelling it with Move Through Cover — moves that line as the rulebook says it should. • An army with nothing to name it is now read off the units the list is built from, so team rosters and the podiums on Recent large events fill in their crests instead of leaving them blank. • The LIVE badge waits for the event's own start date, rather than lighting up as soon as registration closes. • Fixed the flash and the frozen picker animation when switching between a tournament's tabs. • Fixed notification switches staying disabled after allowing notifications in system settings; permission is now re-read whenever the app comes forward. • Refreshed the community FAQ answers behind rules search, and the Old World Builder army catalogues.
