Heart Rate Monitor lets you measure your heart rate anytime, anywhere — no wearable required. Simply place your fingertip over the camera and flash, and the app detects subtle changes in blood flow to calculate your pulse in seconds.
HOW IT WORKS
The app uses your phone's camera and flash to detect tiny color changes in your fingertip caused by each heartbeat. This technique, known as photoplethysmography (PPG), is the same method used in medical pulse oximeters.
