Annual Leave & PTO Expiry

Expat abroad: accrue overtime

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Your leave and your hours in one app. It works out your entitlement from your join date under Korean, Turkish, Japanese or German law, and logs workdays and overtime. Track your leave and your working days in one place. Most apps do one or the other. This one does both: it works out your annual leave entitlement from your join date under the statutory rules of the country you work in, logs the days you take, and records the days and overtime hours you work. SUPPORTED COUNTRIES Korea — Labor Standards Act §60 15 days once you pass one year, one extra day every two years from year three, capped at 25. Monthly accrual during your first year. Each grant expires one year later. Türkiye — İş Kanunu 4857, m.53 14 working days for 1-5 years of service, 20 days for 5-15 years, 26 days from 15 years. At least 20 days if you are under 18 or 50 and over. Leave does not lapse at the year boundary. Japan — Labor Standards Act §39 10 days after six months with 80% attendance, rising to 20 days. Every grant expires two years after it is given. Separate prorated table if you work fewer than five days a week. Germany — Bundesurlaubsgesetz §3 20 working days on a five-day week after the six-month waiting period, partial leave of one twelfth per completed month before that. Carryover runs to 31 March. WORKING DAYS AND OVERTIME Keep a timesheet Mark the days you work. See the monthly and yearly totals, your working-day count and your absences on one screen. Log overtime hours Record hours worked beyond your normal schedule, day by day. Weekly and monthly totals add up automatically. Read both together The same calendar shows the days you worked and the days you took off. At month end you can see how many days you worked and how many you used — at a glance. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH LEAVE Balance at a glance Accrued, used and remaining days — for today or any date you pick. Expiry warnings Each grant carries its own expiry date. The home screen surfaces the closest one, and reminders can warn you before days are lost. Half days and hourly leave Log a full day, a morning or afternoon half day, or leave by the hour. Date ranges that skip what does not count Enter a start and an end date. Weekends, public holidays and days you already recorded are excluded automatically. Calendar and history Month view with a full/half day summary. Filterable history you can review, and cancel entries from. Public holidays built in Holiday tables for all four countries. Manual adjustments Carried-over days, company-granted extra days, deductions — record whatever your employer does that the statute does not cover. Your own rules If you work under an arrangement that is not on the list — a contractual entitlement, another country, a company-specific scheme — the custom rule option lets you define your own annual entitlement and let the app track it the same way. Works offline. No account needed. Your records stay on your device. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO This app does not calculate money. It records your overtime hours but it does not calculate your overtime pay. There is no severance calculation, no notice pay, no payout for unused leave, no payroll and no daily wage. What it does: work out how many leave days you are entitled to, track the leave you take, and record the days and hours you work. Your employer calculates the amounts. A NOTE ON ACCURACY This is a personal record and calculator, not your company's HR system. Collective agreements, your employment contract and internal policy can change both your real entitlement and your working-time arrangement. The numbers here are for your own reference and are not legal advice. Check with your HR department or a qualified professional when it matters.
