Also improved syncing: • Fixed scrambled data that could appear after moving to a new iPhone. • Document tags now stay intact across devices. • Sync can repair affected data automatically. • Restoring a backup now updates your iCloud copy with the repaired data.

This update improves shared-vault syncing and makes sync status easier to understand. • Fixed an issue where removing a shared-vault member could cause some devices to stop receiving updates. Affected vaults now automatically recover and re-sync without requiring user action. • Added a new Sync Status sheet from the Home screen. See clear status messages such as Up to date, Syncing, Offline, Not synced yet, or Sync issue, and manually start a sync when needed. • Shared vaults now include a Send my items again option, making it easier to resend items that haven't reached the shared vault yet. • Sync status now clearly shows when items on your device still need to be sent. • Strict Offline Mode remains unchanged. Syncing a personal vault requires explicit confirmation and does not disable your offline setting. • Added new interface translations for French, German, and Japanese.

Signing up just got easier. • On a sign-up page, Kinship Vault offers a strong password and saves the new login for you, with the website and username filled in. Your keyboard shows the offer on iPhone; Chrome, Firefox and Safari show it on Mac. • When a site sends a password without a username, we ask you for it before saving, so nothing is stored half-finished. • Every login shows once in AutoFill, even when you keep a copy in more than one vault, and logins from all your vaults are available whether that vault is open or not. Dead Man Switch. • Choose what to hand over, name one trustee, and set how often you check in. If you stop checking in, your trustee can unlock a read-only copy of what you chose. Everything stays end-to-end encrypted; only their device can open it. • Checking in is just using the app. A reminder appears on Home when a deadline is near, and your trustee can see the status on their iPhone and Mac. • If a release happens while you are still around, updates to their copy pause until you decide, and your trustee is told you are back. If you mix up pieces from different recovery sets, we now spot it and stop before anything is changed. • Check your recovery before you need it.
