Cook Mode keeps up with you. Timers keep running when you move to the next step, and they ring when they're done. Tap the microphone and say "next step" or "start the timer", or ask Gaston a question with your hands full. A shopping list for the whole plan. It now covers every dinner you've planned, even when your week runs into the next one, and it no longer mixes up look-alikes: garlic powder doesn't count as garlic. Cooked it? It counts. Finishing a planned dinner from its recipe now marks it cooked, so its ingredients leave the list and your pantry stays right. Gaston's answers don't get lost. If your connection drops while he's writing, the app picks up his reply as soon as it can. Safer with allergies. The allergy check now catches more hidden ingredients, such as curry paste and anchovies. Turning off auto-renew keeps Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Bring your own recipes. Point Gaston at a cookbook page, a TikTok, an Instagram Reel, a YouTube video, a recipe website or a pasted caption, and he turns it into a recipe in your book. Cook Mode, timers, Ask Gaston and the shopping list work on it like on any other recipe. Tap the plus on the Recipes tab. Copied a link? Open the app and Gaston offers to import it straight from your clipboard. Your imports live under "My recipes", private to you, with a link back to where they came from. Importing is part of Chef Gaston Pro, like Cook Mode. Ask Gaston what to cook. A new tab in the middle of the bar: tell him what you've got — or snap a photo of it — how you'd like to cook it and for how many, and he writes you a recipe on the spot. One message a day is free; Pro keeps the conversation going. Dinner, decided. At 4:30 PM Gaston reminds you what's on tonight — tap it and Cook Mode opens. Nothing planned? Dansk. The whole app and all 178 recipes now speak Danish — pick your language when you start, or switch any time in Settings. Measurements your way. Grams and decilitres, or cups and ounces. In Settings. Your plan no longer hides. A plan started mid-week runs into next week, and the app now says so and shows you what's waiting there instead of leaving it off the screen. Plan from Monday if you'd rather have a clean week, and see the real dates before you generate. Pantry: swipe to remove an item, or clear a whole shelf at once.
