Trailcast 2.0 brings much deeper workout analysis – directly along your route. New: * Route Weather PRO Weather conditions are now analyzed along your entire route instead of only at the starting point, with adaptive sampling based on activity type and route length. * Detailed Wind Analysis Headwind, tailwind and crosswind are calculated relative to your actual direction of travel. * Colored Wind Map See exactly which parts of your route had headwind, tailwind or crosswind. * Flexible Weather Sampling Choose between Auto, 50%, 25%, 12.5% and 6.25%. Sampling preferences can be stored independently for different activity types. * Smart Analysis for Cycling, Running, Hiking and Walking Trailcast automatically adjusts weather sampling to your activity and route length. * New Route Load Analysis Wind and gradient are combined into a single route load index, making demanding sections easier to identify. * Load Map Your route is color-coded from low to very high environmental load. * Enhanced Fullscreen Map Switch between Speed, Heart Rate, Elevation, Wind and Load overlays. New in this version: * Season Analysis: A new stats page with everything that makes up a cycling year - your records, repeated routes with best and slowest times, the weather you rode in, warmest and coldest ride, your monthly rhythm and the times of day you head out most. Open it by tapping your year goal or the weekly ring. * More languages: Trailcast now speaks Italian, French and Spanish, alongside German and English. * A welcome screen on first launch explaining what Trailcast is built for, with the option to show only GPS activities right away. * More varied comparisons: your kilometres, hours and elevation are now put in perspective with rotating references - from football fields to Tour de France stages to the distance to the Moon. * Fixed: the year goal on the home screen showed a different number than the yearly stats in Settings. Both now use your full year. The "outdoor activities only" filter is more prominent in Settings and now applies consistently, including your streak.

Update Notes 1.8: - New route map: See all your routes on one map - frequently traveled routes stand out as a personal heat map, plus your most traveled laps. - Recovery assessment: A recovery value from your training load (acute vs. chronic) with traffic light, trend and concrete recommendation. - Annual goal: Set yourself a kilometer-year goal and track the progress including "are you ahead or behind". - Weather history: For longer tours, the detail page shows the weather history; temperature is now also embedded in GPX and FIT exports. - Weekly summary: Optional Sunday evening message with your training week and comparison to the previous week. - Widgets, Apple Watch app and complications now show recovery and annual goal. - Numerous improvements and bug fixes.

Tapping a workout notification now reliably opens the app and shows the new workout on its own summary page. The weekly goal progress ring is back on the home screen. Weather reliably appears again in the daily notification. The calendar now scrolls back through your entire training history and shows kilometres per day correctly. Additional stability improvements and minor bug fixes.

- New calendar: Browse your training months and see the kilometres ridden on each day. At the start of a new month you get an automatic recap of the previous one. - FIT export: Export your rides in FIT format for use with other sports platforms. - Enhanced "Today" view: a weekly trend chart, a highlighted window showing the best conditions, and tappable stats that link straight to your workouts. - Fixes: weather now reliably appears in the daily notification, and the calendar shows your full training history.

New in 1.6: - Companion app for your watch: overview, details, last workout, and route-start weather, with automatic sync. - New "Today" overview: weather, ride score, your weekly and monthly stats, and route suggestions near you at a glance. - Daily nudge: an optional reminder with a quick weather check on whether today's a good day to train. - Location-based suggestions: routes to ride again based on where you are right now. - A fresher home screen with a personal greeting, improved weather localization, and various refinements.

The latest version offers a heat map with statistics on the most active training days, the longest training series, time pattern, sports mix and a map heatmap (indexation for correct representation on the map required).
