OUR ORIGIN STORY
I’m Dallas McKinney, a meteorologist from Mayfield, Kentucky, with a background at NASA, the National Weather Service, and FEMA.
In December 2021, a violent tornado tore through my hometown, proving that generic weather warnings fail when they can't account for where you are sheltering. I built Weather Brother so my family, friends, and neighbors would never have to guess if they were in danger—or waste time trying to translate complicated weather charts on their own.
While built with Western Kentucky in mind, Weather Brother works anywhere across the United States.
