eyra is a listening training app for better speech understanding in noise. Do you struggle to follow conversation in restaurants, meetings, or groups? Eyra helps you train your listening skills through short, daily exercises. The app is designed for hearing aid users, cochlear implant recipients, people with APD (auditory processing disorder), hearing loss, or other listening challenges. Speech-language pathologists and audiologists can also use eyra as a self-training tool for their patients. You control the difficulty yourself: signal-to-noise ratio in dB, gap length in milliseconds, semitone interval, panning, and more. Eyra is used with headphones — many of the exercises require stereo audio to work correctly. Three categories: • Speech in Noise — understand speech against background noise • Temporal Processing — perceive short gaps, frequency sequences, and duration patterns • Dichotic Listening — train spatial hearing and the ability to separate sound between the left and right ears Three ways to practice: • Mix All — combined sessions across categories • Choose a Category — train one category at a time • Choose an Exercise — focus on one specific exercise Statistics and insights: Track your progress per exercise and difficulty level. See how your accuracy develops over time, and which listening categories you're strong or weak in. Available in English and Norwegian. Subscription: eyra requires an active subscription (monthly or yearly). You get a 14-day free trial. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancellation is managed in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Eyra is not a medical device and is not registered as medical equipment. The app does not diagnose, treat any condition, and does not replace consultation with an audiologist, ENT doctor, or other healthcare professional.
