An eSIM is a SIM card built into the phone, so there is nothing to order, collect, or lose, and no shop to find at 2am in an airport you have never seen. You install it from this app in a couple of taps. Your normal SIM stays exactly where it is. Your own number keeps working for calls, texts, and the two-factor codes that always arrive at the worst moment. The bcengi eSIM carries data. Your iPhone has to support eSIM and must not be carrier-locked. Most iPhones from the last five years qualify. If you bought yours on a contract, check with the carrier that it is unlocked. You can check your model at bcengi.com/travelpass/esim-compatibility HOW IT WORKS 1. Add money Top up with $10, $25, $50 or $100 USD, in the app or at bcengi.com. Same bcengi account and same balance either way. Nothing is deducted until you use data. 2. Install the eSIM, once It installs in a couple of taps. Do it at home before you fly. It then stays on your iPhone for every trip after this one. 3. Use it across 200+ countries No country plan, no regional package, no daily fee, nothing to choose. Turn on data roaming for your bcengi line when you land, and that country's rate applies. 4. Pay for what you use Each country has its own local per-GB rate, and usage is metered by the kilobyte. Use 25 MB and you are billed for 25 MB, not a rounded-up gigabyte. Rates vary by country and can change. 5. Keep what is left A week in Italy now, a weekend in Turkey six months from now, a layover nobody planned for, all from the same balance on the same eSIM. It does not expire. WHY A BALANCE INSTEAD OF PACKAGES Travel eSIMs are usually sold as a fixed bundle. So many gigabytes, one country, thirty days. You have to predict your own trip, so you buy extra to be safe, and the leftover vanishes on the expiry date. Change your route and you are buying again. We do not sell bundles. There is no subscription and no monthly fee. CHECK RATES BEFORE YOU TRAVEL Search any destination in the app to see what data costs there and which local networks you will connect to, so you know you will have signal before you book. AN eSIM FOR EVERYONE YOU TRAVEL WITH Travelling with a partner or a child? Add another eSIM to your account. Each one has its own balance and its own settings, and they all stay yours to manage. Top up whichever one needs it, move balance between them, and see each one's usage by day and country. Send someone a link and they claim their eSIM and install it on their own phone. You can also limit how many times Auto-Refill may top up in a day, so a heavy week cannot drain your card. Data pauses once that limit is reached, until the next day or until you top up by hand.
