The app name on the Home Screen now follows your device language (Tangdou Go in English) instead of always showing Tangdou. Every page title now carries the brand prefix, e.g. Tangdou Go·Play.

Redesigned for iPad: Home, Records, Profile and Settings no longer stretch on a big screen, and landscape looks the same as portrait. Challenge AI now supports handicap games — even game, one-stone, or 2–13 stones — with the same stone placement and komi as friend matches. Local games have a new Game Info sheet: players, board, komi, handicap, rules and times at a glance.

The interface now follows the iOS 26 design: sheets and bottom toolbars use system materials, and the tab bar minimizes when you scroll. The palette now uses standard system colors, so light and dark mode look more consistent. Fixed: after switching to Dark Mode, the home title and status bar text kept the wrong color and became invisible.

Friend matches: fixed an issue where the opponent and their moves did not appear after they joined from WeChat. The review page now lets you copy the game record as SGF.

Board: grid lines now adapt to each board theme's background color for better contrast. Fixed the missing red dot on the last move in review and spectate, and corrected an off-by-one in review move numbering.

New Country/Region setting (Profile → Edit): a flag now shows next to your name for regions outside mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Profile editing: change your nickname and bio in the app, and pick an avatar from your photo library. iPad landscape: player cards on the play/watch pages are now larger, with clearer avatars and ranks.

Added Traditional Chinese (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau) — it follows your system language automatically. iPad refinements: the local AI game page now matches the watch/review pages (board size and info bar) in both orientations. Local AI: move suggestions are off by default now (you can turn them back on in Settings). Recent games refresh automatically once the network is back.

A brand-new local AI experience (Challenge AI): the on-device engine is over 8x faster, with adjustable strength, komi and move speed — and you can save and review the game when you finish. New Kifu Notes: import SGF records, browse them in the list and review them. iPad portrait refinements: board, player info, game clock and bottom toolbar now scale consistently. Watch & review: clearer info bar under the board, "back to live" no longer reloads the whole page, smoother progress dragging. Redesigned profile page; fixed the reversed leading/trailing territory indicator and repeated countdown voice.
