Your shield, your words. If other people see your phone, the block screen can leave your hourly rate off it. Settings > Discreet shield: the screen shows your minutes unlocked today, or a line of words, and the price stays inside the app. The default screen is unchanged. The lines are yours. A set of house lines you can switch off one by one, and your own, three of them free and more with Pro. A different line comes up each time the screen does. One more switch takes the dollars off your widgets, the Lock Screen countdown, the weekly receipt notification and Siri. They show minutes instead. Inside the app nothing changes. On iOS 27 the block screen's buttons and title fit again, and its colours match what earlier versions showed.

Straight to the toll. On iOS 26.5 and later, tapping Open Dopa Toll on the block screen brings you straight into the app, on that app's toll. No notification to find first, no wait. Earlier versions of iOS still go through the notification, which is the only route they offer. When a rule has closed the door for the day, such as a day cap you made absolute, the toll sheet now opens already saying so. Before, it quoted a price and refused only when you pressed it. The rules shaping today's bill, Day Cap and Bedtime, now sit in their own card below it, on Today and on Tolls, each with a shortcut to its own settings. Bedtime's row says whether it is running right now or only set. Editing your hourly rate now opens the same drawing the intro uses, fed with your own last seven days instead of a guess: what a day, a month and a year of your actual pace costs at the rate you are about to set. New to Dopa Toll? The intro now draws the mechanic instead of describing it: your free window, the moment it flips to paid, and what an hour of scrolling costs at your own rate. Also in this release: The privacy notes now say where your data actually is: on your phone, and in your own iCloud when backup is on. The Pro month card no longer says you are spending dollars. The dollar figure is what your time is worth, never money leaving your account. Settings' troubleshooting list is shorter. The rows that were there because they work moved to Features. Every button now has a visible edge.

Your history now backs up to your own iCloud. Reinstall Dopa Toll or set up a new phone, and your unlock history, focus sessions and statements come back. There is still no account, no login, and no server of ours in between. It is your iCloud, and you can switch it off. If you have used Dopa Toll before, a fresh install now recognizes you and shows what it found, instead of starting you at zero. One thing it does not restore: the list of apps you guard. Screen Time hands those out per install, so you pick them again. Your history for them is already waiting. Also in this release: Backup and Sync has its own page in Settings, with an off switch. Your coins and streaks sync either way, as they always have. Your hourly rate now settles correctly if you set it on two devices. The most recent change wins. Coin purchases interrupted by a crash or by Ask to Buy now credit correctly, even across a reinstall. Today's bill and the Stats totals now update while a toll is running, without leaving the screen. Longer explanations got more line spacing and a size bump. Same words, easier to read.

Added: a daily cap across all your guarded apps. Set one free-time budget for everything combined, and past it every open is on the meter. With Pro, make the limit absolute until midnight. Added: Siri & Shortcuts. Ask for your coin balance or today's bill, or start a focus session, hands-free. Added: combine duplicate app rows in your stats, for when you delete and re-add a guarded app and it shows up twice. Added: home-screen widgets (Pro) for today's bill and your focus timer, including a new side-by-side view. Fixed: locking an app back early could occasionally mis-record how long it was open and what it cost. Your bill, stats, and refunds now stay accurate. Plus smaller fixes under the hood.

New: combine split app rows. If Screen Time lists one app as two rows in your stats (it can happen after you remove and re-add an app), you can now merge them back into one from the app's detail. Reversible anytime — nothing is deleted. Fixed: the block screen now stays dark on Light-appearance devices. Plus accuracy and reliability fixes across unlocks, refunds, and your daily bill.

New: a lifetime option for Pro — one payment, your whole family via Family Sharing, forever. Choose yearly or lifetime on one screen. New: free-trial transparency — see exactly when a trial ends and charges, plus one honest reminder two days ahead. No surprise charges.
