Sky Ace - Flying Game
Fly, dodge, land. Kids arcade.
Free
A dad and his kid built Sky Ace. Now it's completely free — all 10 levels, all planes, Runway Challenge included. No ads. No subscriptions. No tricks.
Sky Ace is an arcade flying game for kids. Press and hold to climb. Let go to dive. That is the whole control scheme — but it is not the whole game.
No ads. No subscriptions. No purchases. Free to play, completely.
A kid and his dad built this one weekend at a time, at the kitchen table. He drew the planes, picked the colors, named the worlds, and played every level until it felt right. His dad wrote the code.
WHAT YOU GET
All 10 levels across two chapters — Clear Skies and Storm Chaser. City Free Flight and Mountain Free Flight — open sandboxes with no timer, no fail state, and no goals. Landmarks to fly around, coins to collect, rings to chase. Runway Challenge, where landing is the whole point. Every plane, every mode, every level. No gates.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
No ads. No subscriptions. No purchases of any kind. No account required. No email. No data collection of any kind. No tracking. No social features, no chat, no friends list, no leaderboards that show real names. No links out to websites or stores.
That list is complete. We did not leave anything out.
PARENTS
Sky Ace is listed in the Apple Kids Category for ages 9 to 11 and follows Apple's guidelines for that category without exception.
Nothing your child does in the app leaves the device. We do not have a server. We could not look at your kid's progress if we wanted to.
WHY WE BUILT IT
He wanted a flying game that did not nag him to watch ads, did not push him to buy coins, and did not ask him to log in before he could play.
He could not find one. So we made one.
GAME MODES
Runway Challenge: the newest mode and the hardest thing in the game. Guide your plane on final approach, watch the landing gear come down, follow the flashing runway lights, and try to touch down just right. Smooth landing earns the Pilot of the Year badge and 50 coins. Rough landing means you survived. Too fast, and you are coming around again.
Missions: 10 hand-crafted levels across two chapters — Clear Skies and Storm Chaser. Obstacle courses, time trials, and coin chains. Levels unlock in order. Each earns up to three stars.
Free Flight: two open sandbox worlds with no obstacles, no timer, and no fail state. City landmarks or mountain peaks — go wherever you want, collect coins, and hit boost rings.
PLANES
Four planes designed by a kid. Each has distinct speed, handling, and armor. The starter plane is free. The other three unlock with coins earned through play. Upgrade any plane across three tracks: engine speed, wing handling, and armor plating.
CONTROLS
Press and hold to climb. Let go to dive.
Thanks for taking a look. If your kid laughs once while playing, we did our job.
A dad and his kid.
Sky Ace is now completely free. Everything that was previously locked is open — all 10 levels, Mountain Free Flight, all four planes, the full upgrade shop. No purchase required, ever.
New in this update:
Runway Challenge is here. Guide your plane on final approach, watch the landing gear come down, follow the runway lights, and try to touch down clean. A smooth landing earns the Pilot of the Year badge and 50 coins. Rough landing means you survived. Too fast, and you are coming around again.
Every mission now opens with a briefing from Captain Rio before you fly. She runs the flight line at Skyview Flight Academy, and she does not waste words.
The plane now has weight. Hold to climb, let go to dive — same controls, but the plane carries momentum now. It takes a second to respond, a second to recover. Better pilots will feel the difference.
Bug fixes: pausing mid-mission no longer causes the plane to crash. Coins no longer spawn inside obstacles. The mission timer bug that ended levels 4, 7, and 8 early is fixed.
