Storyhop is a narrated, choose-your-own-adventure app for kids ages 3 to 8. Your child listens to the story, then steers what happens next by tapping a choice or saying their answer out loud.
Every adventure is read aloud by a friendly voice. When the story reaches a decision, it pauses and waits for your child. They can tap a picture, or — if you've allowed the microphone — speak their answer and keep the story moving. Either way works, so kids can play sitting still in a car seat or running around the living room.
Four adventures to start
- Woodland Walk — a gentle stroll through a sunny forest, meeting small animals and splashing in puddles. Built for younger listeners.
- Build & Race — design a race car from the wheels up, then take it to the track.
- Island Adventure — explore a tropical island, snorkel with sea turtles, and look for hidden treasure.
- A Day at the Lake — spend a slow summer day swimming and exploring with two brothers and their family in Maine.
All four adventures are included free with the app. There are no unlocks, no subscriptions, and nothing to buy.
Built for families
- No accounts, no sign-ins, no passwords. Open the app and play.

- Any link that leaves the app sits behind a parental gate — a short word-problem an adult solves first.

Your privacy, plainly
Storyhop does not ask your child for a name, email, age, address, photo, or location. There are no social features and no chat. The microphone is used only to match your child's spoken answer to one of the choices on screen — audio is never recorded, transcripts are never stored, and nothing is sent off the device tied to your child. Narration is pre-generated audio that ships inside the app; no streaming, no telemetry.
