Find any calculator without opening the app. • Spotlight now finds all 214 calculators and all 145 reference formulas. Search "compound interest" or "BMI" from your Home Screen and go straight there. • Two new Shortcuts and Siri actions: Open Calculator and Look Up Formula. CORRECTNESS • Mortgage payoff "interest saved" now reflects real total-payment differences. The earlier formula could under-report savings significantly when extra payments were involved. • APR solver flags non-convergence instead of returning a confidently-wrong rate. • pH and Henderson–Hasselbalch show "—" for invalid concentrations rather than a misleading literal pH of 0. • Singular matrices throw the right error from the determinant function. • Heat index and dew point are now bounded to their valid input domains; results outside that range show "—" with the constraint stated in the description. • Clearing your tax region in Settings now also clears the rate (was leaving the previous region's rate stuck). • Age calculator clamps to 0 instead of going negative for future birth years. UX & POLISH • Pin and unpin produce different haptics so you can feel the difference. • Currency converter shows when rates were last refreshed and refreshes automatically when you reopen the app. • Number scanner correctly handles negative values; smart bill scanner now picks the largest line item instead of mashing every digit into one number. • AskArix and "Explain" streams cancel cleanly when you dismiss the sheet — no more updates landing on a dismissed view. • Step Solver has a Cancel button while solving, and the solve task is now properly cancellable. • Notebook handwriting OCR results are bounded so a multi-page sweep can't flood the evaluator. • Number scanner: only flips the sign when actual digits were scanned (a stray dash from "May-24" used to silently negate the displayed value).
