What’s new in Riska 1.2.2
• Clearer district search and more accurate guidance about which locations can be searched.
• Improved district and municipality pages with:
– clearer area context;
– source freshness information;
– better loading and refresh behaviour;
– prevention of stale information when switching between areas.
• Added a new “View on map” action to open the selected district or municipality directly on the map.
• Added “Save this area”:
– signed-in users can save the selected area directly;
– signed-out users are guided through sign-in and can continue the save flow afterwards;
– the selected area and coordinates are preserved;
– duplicate saves are prevented.
• Improved global alert preferences:
– changing a global alert preference now updates all saved places;
– new saved places inherit the current global preferences;
– individual place preferences can still be changed separately;
– a later global change applies again to all saved places.
• Improved refresh and synchronization of alert settings across the app.
• Improved wording to make district-level and municipality-level information clearer and more honest.
• Improved Portuguese localization, accessibility labels, navigation, and small-screen layout.
• Improved app startup reliability and internal build stability.
Riska provides supplementary wildfire awareness and does not replace official emergency services. In an emergency, call 112 and follow instructions from the authorities.
