RUOK is a personal-safety check-in app that watches your back when you're heading into a situation where something could go wrong — a first date, a solo hike, a late-night run, a business trip, a long drive home. Set a safety timer before you go. Check in when you're safe. If you don't, RUOK alerts the people who care about you, automatically, by SMS.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Add an emergency contact and ask them to consent on the link they receive.
2. When you head into a situation that feels risky, start a safety timer in the app.
3. Check in before the timer ends to clear it. If you can't — or won't — RUOK sends an SMS to your contacts with the message you pre-wrote so they know to come find you.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS → Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

We don't track you, we don't show ads, and we don't sell anything. Contact information is used for one purpose only: to send safety alerts when you ask us to. SMS delivery is via a verified toll-free number so messages don't get filtered.
