FAIL SYSTEMS
Trigger 75+ failures across 12 categories — engine, advanced engine, helicopter, electrical, hydraulic, flight controls, instruments, avionics, environmental, structural, and landing gear. Set them instant, timed, by airspeed, or by altitude. Reset everything with one tap.
REPOSITION INSTANTLY
Drag the aircraft icon on the map to any location and confirm. Or use the Reposition tab to pick any of 83,792 airports, select a runway, and choose a preset — 10nm final, 5nm final, 2nm final, left/right intercept, downwind, or takeoff position. The aircraft teleports in seconds.
LIVE WEATHER
Download real-world METAR from NOAA and apply wind and altimeter directly to X-Plane. Pan the map to any location and the nearest weather station is detected automatically. Set time of day, season, dawn, dusk, or night with a single tap.
WEIGHT & BALANCE
Per-station payload entry for pilot, passengers, and baggage. Values auto-populate from the simulator. Apply changes directly to X-Plane over UDP.
FUEL CONTROL
Per-tank fuel management using real Plane Maker tank ratios. Adjust individual tanks or set total fuel with a slider. Writes directly to the simulator.
LIVE DASHBOARD
Real-time telemetry updated continuously via UDP — position, attitude, airspeed, engine parameters, electrical bus loads, hydraulic state, and fuel levels. Everything you need to monitor a training session at a glance.
INTERACTIVE MAP
Live aircraft tracking on a moving map with airport markers, AI/TCAS traffic display, and a flight path trail. The Running/Paused button syncs directly to the simulator's time state.
CAMERA CONTROL
Full viewpoint management from a dedicated tab. Radial pad for fine adjustments, plus one-tap presets for HUD, 3D cockpit, 2D panel, chase, circle, tower, runway, spot, and free cam.
FLIGHTS & SITUATIONS
Save and load X-Plane situation files remotely from your iPad. Set up a scenario once, save it, and recall it instantly for every student or every session.
LOGBOOK
Built-in session time tracker. Logs total time, PIC, dual, night, and instrument time automatically while the simulator runs. Export your records as JSON.
VOICE ACTIVATED
Works with native Siri Shortcuts. "Hey Siri, fail engine one in 30 seconds." Hands-free control for the most common training actions.
PILOTEDGE INTEGRATION
Dedicated in-app tab with an embedded browser for PilotEdge web tools. ATC and simulator control in one screen — no Safari switching required.
FOR SERIOUS SIM PILOTS
Whether you are an instructor running structured lessons, a home cockpit builder who wants professional-level control, or a sim pilot who just wants to fly without hunting for keyboard shortcuts — XPilotStation is built for you.
No keyboard. No mouse. Just fly.
X-PilotStation is designed for entertainment and personal training use.

This update fixes the Map page in sync during a lesson.
• The map stays with your aircraft instead of locking in place.
• Altitude, indicated airspeed, and vertical speed on the map keep updating with the simulator.
• Map tracking uses less of the iPad, so the rest of the app stays responsive.
This update adjusts the first-launch local network step to match App Store privacy guidelines.
• The setup button now says Continue.
• That step always continues into the iPadOS local network request.
