The new Services Engine improves how UAE news, events, culture, sports, travel, and other timely updates are brought into Happening. • Fresher updates in your feed. When publishers provide suitable images, Happening posts can now show image-first cards for a more useful and engaging browsing experience. • Arabic-first UAE content. Happening now gives priority to Arabic content from approved UAE sources, with English used when Arabic is unavailable. • More dependable content handling. Improvements to review, publishing, and source-management flows help keep service updates accurate and consistent. What's New in This Version Search & Trending, refined. This update focuses on two things: helping you find what matters, and showing you what's actually moving right now. Search • More relevant results — search reads your intent better and ranks people, majalis, and topics by how closely they match you, not just by keyword. • Quicker, cleaner suggestions as you type. • A new relevance-analytics layer works in the background to keep sharpening results the more you search. Trending • Trends now track real-time momentum — what's gaining activity this moment, not just all-time totals. • Personalized to your interests and the majalis and people you follow. • Less noise: brief spikes and low-activity chatter are filtered out, so what's shown is what's genuinely trending. These improvements are rolling out gradually. Thank you for being part of Almajlis — we'd love your feedback.
