THE DIFFERENCE: POSTURE VIA AIRPODS
Stillness is the first meditation app on the App Store to use the motion sensors built into your AirPods (Pro, 3rd gen, Max, or compatible Beats) to keep watch over your posture during a sit.
At the start of each session, you set a baseline — the angle of your head when you are upright, relaxed, settled. Stillness reads pitch, yaw, and roll 60 times per second through Apple's headphone motion API. If you slowly start to slump beyond your chosen sensitivity threshold (default ±5°, fully configurable), a soft tone or haptic brings your attention back. No screen needed. No camera. Nothing leaves your device.
