Rushi is a quiet Buddhist toolkit for sutra reading, 108-bead mala counting, and copy practice. It is offline, ad-free, account-free, and designed to stay out of the way of practice.

[Read]
Read the Diamond Sutra and Heart Sutra from documented public-domain or properly licensed sources. Font size controls, paper backgrounds, paragraph bookmarks, and full offline use are included.
[108-bead Mala]
Use an adjustable bead counter from 18 to 108 beads, with wood fish, bell, chime, om, and bead sounds. Haptics, history, weekly and monthly goals, and dedication on completion are included.
[Copy Practice]
Write with finger, stylus, or Apple Pencil. Save works to a personal collection and export to PDF. Chinese practice can use bundled calligraphy copybooks; other languages can use the copybook pages as visual writing references.
[One-time unlock]
Reading and mala features remain simple and free. Advanced Copy Practice is unlocked with one non-consumable in-app purchase. There is no subscription, no ads, no account, and no external payment link.
[Transparent sources]
Sutra texts and calligraphy resources are documented in the app. Sources include CBETA, NDL Digital Collections, KABC, Wikisource, FreeSound CC0, public-domain archives, and properly licensed materials.
[Privacy]
No analytics SDKs, no tracking, and no account system. Bookmarks, bead counts, and copy works stay on your device.
