Dash is a private, offline-first note-taking app built for people who want to think without being watched. No accounts. No analytics. No tracking. Notes live on your device. If you choose to sync between your own devices, every byte is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves your phone — the relay server cannot read your notes. FEATURES • Rich, block-based editor — headings, lists, checklists, code, tables, quotes, dividers, embeds, alignment, drag-and-drop reordering, multi-block selection. • Folders, tags, full-text search, version history. • Image attachments stored locally inside the app. • Per-page passphrase encryption (AES-GCM-256, PBKDF2 key stretching) and app-level lock with Face ID / Touch ID. • Optional end-to-end encrypted multi-device sync — pair with a QR code, decrypt on-device, server only sees ciphertext. • Self-destructing notes that wipe themselves after a set time or N views. • Markdown / DOCX / PDF / CSV export, encrypted backup files (.dashpack). • 30-day Trash for soft-deleted notes. • Four themes: Light, Dark, DarkBlue, Fallout (terminal green). • Works fully offline. The app collects no analytics, contacts no third-party SDKs, and makes no network calls except to the optional sync relay (only when you turn it on, only with encrypted blobs). The relay sees opaque ciphertext addressed by random vault IDs — it cannot read or attribute your notes to you. Sync fixes. • Sync now works on iPhones and networks that block the sync server's original address. Dash tries three addresses and keeps the one that answers. Nothing to configure. • Clearer sign-in and pairing screens: your email is only used to check for a subscription; notes never travel by email. • If you subscribed on your iPhone, your Mac no longer asks you to pay again. • Fixed a sign-in loop and a "replayed request" error that could pause sync.
