Playtime, paid for in words.
Open a blocked app and the Sphinx is standing in the doorway. Get the word right and you're through.
- Playtime, priced in words
Fifteen minutes runs you 5 questions, half an hour 10, a full hour 20. Nobody's telling you to stay off your feeds. Clear the words and the app is yours. The time you were going to scroll away, you keep as vocabulary.
- Only the words on your exam
· Japanese — JLPT N5 to N1
· Chinese — HSK 1-6, 7-9
16,748 words, no filler. Every question comes off the exam you're already studying for, so the time you burn getting into an app is time you spent studying. Free covers 200 new words in total; after that, quizzes continue with the words you've learned and unlocking works exactly as before. Pro opens all 16,748.
- Words stick, or they come back
Miss a word once and the price goes up to three in a row, and it keeps turning up until you pay it. Get one twice in a row and it's gone for good, so you'll never grind through words you already know. (Once you've met all 200 free words, quizzes review what you've learned.)
- Every escape route, closed
Delete a locked app off your Home Screen and it stays locked. Cap your day, and once the cap is gone, no amount of quizzing gets you in. Tighten a rule whenever you like, but loosening one is once a day, so 2 a.m. can't overrule this morning.
- Learn it in passing
Add the widget and your next word sits on your Home or Lock Screen. No session, no sitting down. You just start knowing them.
If the only way you'll study is being made to, let Sphinx Lock make you.
