Contaminant flags on every scan Scan a product and you now see what UK and EU testing has found in that kind of food: pesticide residues, microplastics, heavy metals and acrylamide. Each one sits on a four-step scale, and the regulator data behind it is one tap away. These flags describe the food type rather than the jar in your hand, and they never change the health score. Choose what a result shows Switch any section on or off: allergens, nutrition, ingredient analysis, the four contaminant flags, and healthier alternatives. Use the list button at the top of any result, or Account under Preferences. Manage your plan without leaving the app You will find your subscription, region, data and notification controls together in a new Settings screen. Cancelling now takes two taps and never sends you hunting through store menus first. Also in this release History holds your last 250 products instead of 50, and opens faster. You will see microplastic risk back in Today's Exposure on Insights. Tap the score explainer to read what the score covers and what it leaves out. Press a button, row or tab and you feel a light tap. Fewer privacy prompts You see only the consent prompts that apply in your region. Fixes Subscribers no longer get sent back through setup after reopening the app. The subscribe button stays usable on a weak connection. Reduce Motion applies across setup, and VoiceOver reads the new screens.

All Scrannr uses now have 5 free search scans. Scans are no longer taken from the full analyses, this is only used when scanning a barcode product now. Our custom SVG icons are now used throughout the app. Bugfix on camera permissions, now users can select to open with camera after disabled to take them to the iOS settings page to enable the camera. Pro users were able to open the paywall upon load of the app. This has now been patched

We have introduced an onboarding screen for new users to Scrannr as well as a free trial for all users that have not previously purchased a Scrannr Pro membership Notifications are now in Scrannr! These will be off by default but you can opt in to notifications via the Acount section.
