Performance • No more beachballing on documents with full-page viewport captures. The drag-out thumbnail used to re-render the entire canvas to PNG on every doc change — now lazy, so multi-megapixel captures stay smooth as you pan and zoom. • Faster, more reliable image display. Decoded bitmaps stay pinned in RAM instead of being lazily re-paged under memory pressure. Improvements • Cleaner app launch. No more stowaway blank windows flashing at startup. • Resize a wrapping text by its side handle and the height re-flows to fit the new line count, instantly and without flicker. Corner drags still respect the height you set explicitly. • Pasting wrapping text now caps to the visible viewport and anchors at the top-middle of the cursor, so large pastes extend downward off the bottom instead of off both the top and the bottom at once. • Adaptive capture-label font size. Breakpoint captions size themselves to fit the image width — long preset names get a smaller font, short ones a larger one, no truncation. • Quick Capture window is 25% bigger, opens dead-center on the active screen, and leaves twice as much room around the screenshot for annotations drawn outside its edges. • Toolbar follows the active tool. Switching to the text tool no longer leaves the line-width slider or stroke-color picker hanging around — even if a shape happens to still be selected.
