Backpacked turns school emails, classroom newsletters, sports texts, and the flyers crumpled in the bottom of a bookbag into one calm checklist for the morning. For parents of more than one kid.
The pain is real. Five inboxes, three group chats, two classroom apps, a sports schedule PDF that updates every Sunday, and a paper flyer you'll find on Tuesday — for an event that was Monday. Every existing family calendar app makes you retype it all by hand. Backpacked reads it for you.
HOW IT WORKS
Forward a school email. Share a PDF or screenshot from any app. Snap a photo of a paper flyer. Backpacked picks out the date, the kid it's for, the time, and what they need to bring. You confirm with a tap. It's saved.
Then at 9pm — or whatever time you choose — the night before, you open Backpacked. Every kid, every action, one screen. Tomorrow's PJs are by the door, the gym shoes are in the bag, the permission slip is signed, because you knew.

- Show ads. Ever.
- Read your inbox without your say-so. We never connect to your mailbox. You forward only what you want extracted.
- Try to also be a chore tracker, recipe box, or family chat app. We do one thing, well.
- Lock you in. Delete your account from inside the app and we're gone, with everything we had on you.
USE IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
Backpacked works in guest mode — add kids, manually log events, see Tomorrow and the Week view, all stored locally on your device. Sign in with Apple only when you want cloud sync, AI extraction, or the night-before push notification.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
We don't track you across other apps. No advertising SDKs. No data brokers. Children's first names and grade levels are the only kid data we hold, and a tap deletes everything when you're done. Read the full privacy policy at backpacked.app/privacy.
