Bug fixes and improvements

Welcome to version 1.2.2! In this update, we have introduced the following new features and improvements: - Comprehensive File Sharing Support: You can now share files from outside the app (from the system or other apps), and it is no longer limited to just images and PDF files. For example, you can now share a video or an audio file to extract the lecture from them, share a YouTube link to extract the lecture directly, or share text files such as (TXT) and (DOCX) which will take you directly to the library import interface. In short, all formats supported by the app are now fully shareable! - Extract from Clipboard: Added a new feature to the main interface that allows you to easily extract text from any copied image in your clipboard, as well as extract text directly from a copied YouTube lecture link. - Auto-Detect Clipboard Content: Added a new setting (disabled by default). When enabled, the app will automatically detect your clipboard content upon opening and ask if you'd like to extract text from a copied image or YouTube link. - Convert Persian Numbers: Added a new setting (disabled by default) that automatically converts Persian numbers to English numbers during extraction. This resolves issues with screen readers failing to read Persian numbers properly. - Unlimited Flexibility for Live Reader and Live Chat: The Live Reader and Live Chat features are now much more flexible and stable. They are no longer restricted by the previous 15-minute timeout limit that required reconnecting. You can now enjoy continuous, uninterrupted, and extended sessions for a seamless experience. - Select File from iPDF Library: Added the ability to select a file directly from the iPDF library when adding attachments in Ask iPDF. - Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements: Various fixes and optimizations for a smoother and more stable experience. Thank you, iPDF Team

Welcome to version 1.2.1! In this update, we have introduced the following new features and improvements: - New Classic OCR Model: We added a new OCR model named "Classic OCR", bringing the total number of available OCR models in the app to 4 to better suit various document types. - Read Aloud Enhancements: - Background playback support, allowing you to continue listening while using other apps or when the screen is locked. - Keep device screen awake while listening (Please note that the "Keep Screen Awake" setting in Settings must be enabled to keep the screen on during playback). - Copy to Clipboard Export Option: Added a new option under Export settings that allows you to copy text directly to your clipboard. This option depends on the "Always convert entire file / Convert Entire File" setting, allowing you to specify custom page ranges to copy when extracting documents. - Library Indexing & Sorting: Added sorting and indexing options to organize your library display, allowing you to sort books by Name, or Recently Read. - Keep Screen Awake Setting: Added a new toggle in Settings to prevent the screen from turning off (Keep Screen Awake), which is disabled by default. - Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements: Various fixes and optimizations for a smoother and more stable experience. Link your devices seamlessly via settings using a 6-digit OTP code. Once linked, all your books and categories (additions, deletions, and modifications) will be instantly synced across your phones (iOS and Android) and computers. - In-Text Search: You can now search for specific words or phrases within the extracted text and find them instantly. - Enhanced Audio Export: - Flexible Export Options: Export the entire document, specific parts, or custom page ranges (please ensure that the "Always convert entire file" option is disabled so the app can ask for your preferred ranges). - Audio Splitting: Choose to save your export as a single audio file or split it into multiple files based on your selected ranges. - Live Reader Voice Integration: A new setting allows you to automatically apply your preferred "Live Reader" voice to audio exports, bypassing the need to select a voice each time. - Import from Clipboard: Instantly import any copied text from your clipboard directly into your iPDF library with a single tap. For optimal reading, long texts are automatically pasted and paginated into 3,000-character pages without any manual intervention. - Magic Tap Support (Two-finger Double Tap): You can now double-tap with two fingers to easily end the Live Reader mode or Live Chat mode. - General Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements: We have resolved various issues and enhanced the overall app performance for a smoother, more stable experience. Welcome to version 1.1.0, our biggest update yet, bringing you a wealth of new features! What's New in This Update: • Extract Text from Lectures: You can now extract text from your lectures wherever they are—whether in local files, videos, or even YouTube (supports both audio and video files). • Live Reader: Empowers blind and visually impaired users to read physical paper documents directly in real-time using AI. It features 30 high-quality voices that can be switched seamlessly from the settings. • PDF Tools: An entirely new tab featuring a comprehensive suite of PDF utilities, including: creating PDFs from images, splitting PDFs, merging PDFs, converting Docx to PDF, encrypting and decrypting PDFs, and compressing PDF files. • History Feature: You can now save your extraction progress. If the app is closed or the extraction is paused, you can return later and resume exactly from where you left off without starting over. You can resume in multiple ways: by re-sharing the file to the app, selecting it again from "Extract text from PDF," or directly from the History tab. The History section includes 3 tabs (All, Completed, Incomplete), along with a "Clear History" button that deletes the entire selected tab's records. • Export to Audio: You can now export your text files into high-quality audio files using any of our 30 distinct voices. This can be accessed from the export options immediately after extraction or from your Library. • Massive Read Aloud Improvements: You can now choose a specific voice for each supported language independently. We have added support for multiple languages, all configurable in the settings. Read Aloud now supports pause and resume. For VoiceOver users, you can conveniently use the two-finger "Magic Tap" gesture to pause and resume playback. • Ask iPDF Live Chat: Ask iPDF now features Live Chat, an interactive voice conversation powered by Gemini. (Note: This feature uses the same voice selected in settings for the Live Reader, and handles a maximum of 50 pages per file). • Home Screen Shortcuts (Quick Actions): We have added a feature that allows you to customize up to 4 shortcuts accessible by long-pressing the app icon using Haptic Touch. This gives you quick, direct access to key tools such as: Extract Text from PDF, Extract Text from Image, Extract Text from Lecture, and Live Reader. You can toggle your preferred shortcuts on or off by navigating to (Settings > Home Screen Shortcuts). Additionally, using VoiceOver actions, you can easily arrange the order of the shortcuts by moving them up or down. • Plenty of bug fixes and performance improvements to ensure a smoother, more stable user experience.
