• INSTANT PREVIEW
Drop a .md, .markdown, .mdown, or .mkd file onto the menubar popover and it renders in place. Full GitHub-flavored Markdown: headings, tables, task lists, nested lists, fenced code blocks, blockquotes, images, and links. Strict HTML escaping — safe to open files from anywhere.
• LIVE RELOAD
Edit a file in your editor, save, and the preview refreshes automatically within milliseconds. A subtle green pulse on the file row tells you it updated. Perfect for writing docs in your IDE and seeing the result without leaving flow.
• LIGHTWEIGHT EDIT MODE
Click the pencil icon or press ⌘E to toggle the current file into a plain monospaced editor right inside the panel. Type, hit ⌘S to save, or just toggle back to preview and your changes write automatically. Stay out of Xcode's way — this is for quick fixes, not a replacement for your real editor.
• MULTI-FILE SIDEBAR
Keep several files open at once. Click between them in a clean sidebar. Each file persists across app launches via macOS security-scoped bookmarks — restart your Mac, come back to exactly the files you had open. Hover to remove individual files, or collapse the sidebar entirely when you want the preview full-width.
• DOCK WHERE YOU WORK
Dock the preview to the left or right edge of your screen at 50% width. Flip sides with one click. Toggle between 70% and 100% visible height. Resize freely — your size sticks across launches. The panel floats above other windows and never steals focus.
• THEMES AND TYPOGRAPHY
Choose between a system-adaptive theme, a GitHub-style theme, or Solarized Dark. Adjust font size from 10 to 22 points. Everything you pick is remembered across launches.
• BUILT FOR MACOS
Written from the ground up in Swift and SwiftUI. Properly sandboxed. Respects system appearance, reduce motion, VoiceOver, and keyboard shortcuts throughout. Localized for English and Spanish.
