A focused follow-up to 1.3.0 — smarter long-press hints, a clearer Friends list, and passive duel matchmaking. WHAT'S NEW • Long-press hints rebuilt — Long-press a cell to see the digits that can still go there, as quick chips. Filled cells show nothing. The old technique-card behaviour is gone, and a new Settings → Game toggle lets you switch the surface off entirely. • Invited indicator on Friends — Friends you've already challenged now show an "Invited" chip instead of a duplicate Duel button. Tap it to see who, which difficulty, the time remaining, and a single Cancel invite action. • Passive duel matchmaking — Tap "Find a duel" and you can leave the screen. Your queue spot stays live for six hours, a small "Searching" pill on the Hub shows how long you've been waiting, and a push lets you know when an opponent arrives. • Fixes — Rematch requests and 24-hour friend-invite expiries are sweeping correctly again Plus a tidier Settings screen and assorted polish under the hood.

A smaller follow-up to 1.2.2, focused on privacy controls and stability. WHAT'S NEW • Analytics opt-out — A new toggle in Settings lets you turn off product analytics whenever you want. Deleting your account now removes your analytics record too. • Duel stability — Fixed a realtime crash that could hit when two players opened the same duel at the same time. • Streaks and purchases — Fixed a bug where streaks and restored purchases could be recorded against the wrong identity for guest and just-signed-in sessions. Plus assorted polish and crash reporting improvements under the hood.

Lattice 1.2.2 is a big one — the first major update since 1.1.3, with the social layer, learning tools, and language support we've been building toward. WHAT'S NEW • Friends & Duels — Add friends by @handle and challenge them to head-to-head duels on a shared puzzle. Highest score wins. Quick Match pairs you with someone in the world if you'd rather not wait. • Notifications Center — A new bell in the header collects friend requests, duel invites, and tournament updates in one place. • Sudoku Tutor (Premium+) — Interactive, step-by-step lessons on the techniques that separate a fast solver from a stuck one: X-Wing, Swordfish, Jellyfish, XYZ-Wing, W-Wing, Simple Coloring, and more. Each lesson has an example board you play through, not a diagram you stare at. • German & French — Lattice now speaks two more languages end-to-end, with locale-aware dates and times. • Continue with Google — A third sign-in option alongside Apple and email. • New home screen — An "In Play" rail puts your active games and tournaments front and center. • Profile polish — Pick a unique @handle and change it later from Profile. New "Maybe later" opt-out on the solved screen. • Two-step upgrade — The paywall now lets you select a tier first and confirm with a dedicated Upgrade button, so you can compare options without committing by mistake. • Daily duel-invite cap — Free users can now send three friend duel invites per day. Premium and Premium+ stay unlimited. • Native edge-swipe — Swipe from the edge to go back anywhere in the app, with smoother screen transitions.
