When you book a villa through a big platform, the listing price already includes a service fee, and you pay another one at checkout. That money doesn't make your stay better. On Bukavilla, the price you see is the price you pay. The owner sets it. There is no platform fee tacked on at checkout, and there are no surprise charges.
What you get with the app
— A curated catalog of private villas. Each one is listed by the person who actually runs it, with real photos and descriptions written by hand.
— Calendars that are honest. Availability syncs from the owner's other channels (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com) every few hours, so the dates you see really are open.
— Direct messaging with the owner. Ask about the breakfast, the road in, the WiFi, the dog. Most owners reply the same day.
— Secure payments. Pay with your card or by other means directly that funds flow to the owner. Owners have option to set different payment modes.
— Trip details, saved villas, and check-in info, all in one place once you're booked.
