Logging a set barely needs the keyboard now.
Reps is a row of numbers you tap instead of a box you type into. It opens on the numbers you are likely to hit and scrolls if you need something further out. Weight has a
minus and a plus either side of it, stepping by whatever this lift actually loads in, so kilo users get 2.5 kg, or 1.25 kg on a cable, instead of the odd 2.27 kg an unconverted pound step used to produce. Holding a step runs it up or down quickly, and tapping the number still opens the keyboard for anything the steps do not reach.
Everything you log carries into the next set. Weight, reps and reps in reserve all stay where you left them, so a straight repeat of your last set is one tap on LOG SET and nothing else. Your first set of a lift is still yours to enter. Setly marks the reps it expects and waits for you to tap, because a rep count nobody actually did is not one worth learning from.
Setly has a sense of touch now, and uses it sparingly.
Dragging an exercise into a new order feels like it. The row knocks when it lifts off the list, ticks as it passes each exercise, and taps when you let go, so you can reorder a session without watching it happen. A long press to delete confirms the press registered rather than leaving you holding a finger down. Finishing a workout, a purchase going through, a trial starting and a friend request accepted all have their own pattern, and a failed purchase buzzes like a failure instead of quietly showing text. Ordinary buttons stay silent. A haptic only means something while it stays rare.
Every lift in the library has a form guide now. The other 54 had nothing behind How to perform, including Core and Forearms entirely, plus Dips, Chin Ups, Front Squat, the lunges, the Smith machine lifts and every unilateral variant. All 122 are written in the same three sections and the same voice as the rest.
Corrections to the exercise library now reach phones that already have the app, which they never did before. Dips, Lat Pullover, Back Extensions and Landmine Press were filed under no muscle at all, so adding one mid workout left it out of your session title and out of your weekly volume. They are Chest, Back, Hamstrings and Shoulders, and you do not have to reinstall anything to get that.
What you share is what you set.
The switches for what friends see of your training looked like they worked and did not, and the agreement Setly asks for before any of your data leaves the phone was never actually reaching the server. Both are fixed, and existing accounts repair themselves on the next sync without you doing anything. Nothing was ever lost from your phone. Beyond that, a save that fails now tells you instead of moving the switch and hoping, and turning sharing off deletes what was shared rather than trusting the app to remember to.
Bug fixes:
- The friends-visibility switches were never saved, so they were back on the next time you opened the screen
- Sharing your training data with Setly was refused by the server every time, silently
- Turning off 1RM sharing left your published estimates up
- A failed name or username change still started the 7 day wait before you could try again
- Friend notification switches could sit in a position the server did not have
- Close Grip Cable Row, Unilateral Cable Row and Machine Lat Row were missing from the exercise library, from search and from the lift picker on your 1RM tracker
- Pull Ups said no form guide was available, when the guide had been written all along under the lift's old name
- Reordering a long session cut the list off below the bottom of the screen, taking Add exercise, Done and Cancel with it, so the only way out was to lose the edit
- The reps field in the drop set editor threw the keyboard up over LOG DROP
- A set logged immediately after typing could come back as a half-filled draft
