Imprint is a calm time tracker for your Mac. It runs in the background, watches which apps and windows you spend time in, syncs your calendar and meeting notes, and gives you a clear picture of your day — without forcing you to start and stop a timer. Everything stays on your Mac. No cloud, no telemetry, no account required. WHAT IMPRINT DOES • Passive activity tracking. Imprint sees how long you spent in each app, classifies it as Focus, Communication, Admin, Browser, or Other, and shows it on a timeline you can scrub through. • Personal vs work, learned once. Mark Netflix as personal once and it's always personal. Same for any app, any title pattern, any time of day. Personal time stays out of work reports. • Daily Commitment. Set one intention each morning. Imprint surfaces it again at the end of the day so you can see if you actually did the thing you set out to do. • Weekly Reflection. A short, structured prompt every Friday. Pulls the data you already have so you can answer it in two minutes. • Period Report. Want to know how you spent the last quarter? Pick a date range, get a clean summary by category, project, and meeting load. • Calendar integration. Reads from macOS Calendar — so iCloud, Google, Outlook, Exchange, all of it shows up alongside your activity. • Meeting transcription on device. Record any meeting, transcribe with Whisper locally on your Mac. No audio leaves your device. Optional cloud transcription with Soniox if you want faster results. • Notion meeting notes. Connect Notion and your AI-summarized meeting notes show up in Imprint alongside the recording. • Microsoft 365, Google, Slack, Linear, HubSpot. Connect any of these to pull tasks, emails, messages, and issues into one Today view. • AI summaries. Apple Intelligence runs on-device for free. Connect a Claude API key for richer summaries — your choice. PRIVACY Imprint stores everything in a local SQLite database in your user library. Nothing is uploaded. Cloud connectors (Microsoft, Notion, etc.) talk directly to those providers — Imprint has no servers and no shared infrastructure. Window-title access uses macOS Accessibility. We never read clipboard, never read keystrokes, never capture screen content. Window titles are only used to identify which app or document you're working in. Fixes and quality-of-life improvements: • Replaced the forced 5-step onboarding wizard with a lightweight welcome tour you can skip or revisit later. Tour no longer appears unexpectedly when you cancel an integration sign-in. • New Support tab in Settings: send feedback, request integrations, or ask for help — each opens your mail client with subject and version info pre-filled. All routed to hello@useimprint.io. • Fixed a layout bug where clicking the Meeting Notes tab could push the dashboard sidebar off-screen at the default window size. Window now opens at 1350×720 by default. • HubSpot connection now correctly filters tasks to just your own assignments (was showing the whole company's tasks). When HubSpot blocks marking a task complete from outside their app, Imprint now explains the limitation clearly instead of showing a generic scope error. • Updated HubSpot OAuth integration to HubSpot's newer 2026-03 token endpoints, well ahead of the 2027 sunset.
