Spell & Collect: Word Puzzle

Kids Spelling & Crossword 6+

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Ten languages, one setting. Move the whole app — menus, puzzles, card names and facts — into the language your family speaks, or let it follow the device. A quiet crossword-style spelling puzzle your child can pick up after school and put down at bedtime. Build vocabulary, letter by letter — no ads, no streaks, no surprise paywalls. Just words, spelling, and a small world of collectible cards to fill. Collect 90 hand-drawn cards across 15 themed word packs — gardens, planets, fairy tales, professions, and more. Each solved crossword-style puzzle reveals one. For ages 6 and above. Your child solves a level, reveals a hand-drawn card, fills the album. Spelling and vocabulary, sneaked in. THE KIND OF SCREEN TIME YOU CAN HAND OVER AND WALK AWAY FROM You've been burned by kids' apps before — the ones that beg for a streak, ask the child to "watch a video to continue," or quietly siphon data to who-knows-where. This isn't one of them. • Pay once. One purchase unlocks every paid pack — today and every pack we add later. Six free packs to try first. • No ads, no chat, no trackers. COPPA and GDPR-K compliant. No personal data leaves the device. • A Parental Gate (a quick math problem) sits in front of the Shop, Settings, and any link that leaves the app. • Plays offline. Download once; play on the train, the plane, the cabin. • No streaks, no daily-login pressure. Your child can put the tablet down without losing anything. WHY KIDS STICK AROUND Fifteen themed packs — a garden, the planets, the wonders of the world, fairy tales, professions, and more. Each pack has thirty levels and six hand-illustrated collectible cards. Every level is a small puzzle scaled to the reader: short words to start, longer ones as your child grows with the pack. Every solved level reveals a card and a one-sentence fact about what's on it. Kids don't feel they're being taught — they collect, they guess, they get smarter. A SECOND LANGUAGE, GENTLY The app comes in ten languages, and one setting in the grown-ups area moves all of it — menus, puzzles, card names, and the facts on the cards. Want your child to pick up a few words in another language? Put the whole app in it for a pack or two, then switch back. A soft on-ramp to a second language, no formal lessons. MADE THE SLOW WAY Spell & Collect is written and illustrated by a small team taking the slow road on purpose. No subscriptions. No engagement traps. Just a quiet collection your child finishes one pack at a time. If your kid finishes a pack and asks for the next one — that's the whole point.

Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

The tablet layout now keeps packs, levels and the album side by side, with a grown-ups tab of its own. A dark theme follows your device. Bigger text is handled throughout, and Increase Contrast is followed too. 12 achievements to earn as you finish packs and collect cards. Still no ads, still offline.
