Hifz Musaa'id - Memorize Quran
Companion in your Hifz Journey
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad
Hifz Musaa'id (Hifz Musaaid) is a Quran memorization companion built around two practice modes: Jadeed for new memorization and Muraja'ah for revision. Daily streaks, weekly review programs, and Al-Fatihah + full Juz Amma included for free.
...
Whether you are memorizing new ayahs or maintaining what you have already learned, Hifz Musaa'id brings structure, consistency, and precision to your daily practice.
*** JADEED — New Memorization ***
Build a complete memorization program for any Surah. Choose your ayah range, set your repetition count, and let the app guide you through every step.
Three proven patterns to choose from:
Isolation — each ayah repeated independently until locked in memory.
Pairing — a sliding window groups recent ayahs together, building connections between them.
Cumulative — starts with one ayah and builds all the way to a full chain, so every new ayah is always reviewed in context.
Weak ayahs are automatically flagged and given extra repetitions so nothing slips through.
*** MURAJA'AH — Revision ***
Revise by full Page or full Surah or full Juz in one seamless session. The audio flows straight through with no gaps, exactly as you would recite. Set any number of passes — 3, 5, 10, or infinity — and the app repeats the full content with a brief pause between each pass for your mental recitation.
The Bismillah opener plays automatically before each Surah.
*** MUSHAF — Read Along As You Recite *** [NEW]
Open the tajweed-colored Madani mushaf right inside the app. Tap "Show on Mushaf page" from the Player and the ayah you are reciting lights up on the actual page — the highlight jumps from ayah to ayah as playback advances, including the Bismillah row before each Surah.
Toggle Cropped view to pan the sidebar off and zoom into the text column with nothing at the top or bottom cut off. Rotate to landscape and the page auto-scrolls so the current ayah stays at the top of the viewport. Pages swipe right-to-left, the way a physical mushaf turns.
Pages download quietly in the background while you play audio, and Media Manager can grab all 604 pages in one tap for full offline reading.
*** AYAH BREAKDOWN — Master Every Word ***
Struggling with a single word or phrase? Load any ayah, drag the Start and End points to isolate just that section, and repeat it as many times as you need. Slow the speed to 0.5× to hear every letter with complete clarity.
Think of it like a video editor for your Hifz — loop any moment, at any speed, as many times as it takes.
*** PLAYER ***
Continues playing when you lock your screen or switch to another app. Control playback directly from your lock screen or Control Centre. Automatically pauses when a call comes in and resumes when you are ready. Adjust the speed live while audio is playing — from 0.5× to 2× (3x with our Pro subscription).
May Allah bless your Hifz journey.

4.03.7 5d ago
- Bug fixes with Mushaf page scroll
- Added option to choose which Surah to loop when a page has more than one surah
4.03.6 Aug 8
- Redesigned bottom navigation — Home, Practice, Mushaf, Khaza'in, Settings.
Tap Practice to open a quick popover with Jadeed, Muraja'ah, and Ayah
Breakdown. iPad users get each mode as its own tab.
- New in Mushaf: long-press any ayah for "Repeat Range." Pick an end
ayah (swipe pages if needed) and the range loops until you stop —
perfect for drilling cross-page revision.
- Mushaf download button now caches both the page images AND the audio
for the selected scope (Page / Juz / Full Qur'an) so offline reading
works everywhere you've downloaded.
- Khaza'in is now a clean vertical list — Favorites, Hifz Playlist,
Marhala Revision, and Du'a — with a live "Recently Played" section
that remembers your last five sessions across Jadeed, Ayah
Breakdown, and Mushaf.
- Bug fixes
- Interactive tour updated to teach the new Practice popover flow.

*Mushaf Reader*
- New Mushaf action row on every page: ▶ Page, ↻ Ayah, ↻ Page, ↻ Surah — one tap to play or loop
- Skip prev/next transport in the Mushaf reader
- Landscape Mushaf: fit-to-width view that auto-scrolls to the ayah you're on
- Bookmark any Mushaf page, rename it later
*Other Features*
- New Surah / Juz / Bookmark landing screen with inline search
*Isolated bugs fixed*
4.02 Jul 30
- Mushaf on your phone: Every one of the 604 Madani mushaf pages is now available inside the app. Tap "Show on Mushaf page" from the Player and the ayah you're reciting lights up on the actual page — Bismillah gets its own row highlight, and the highlight jumps ayah-to-ayah as playback advances.
Cropped view that pans, not shrinks. Toggle Cropped mode and the sidebar slides off while the text zooms in — nothing at the top or bottom gets cut, so the whole page stays readable.
- Landscape auto-follow: Rotate the phone and the page auto-scrolls so the current ayah stays at the top of the viewport as you recite. Works cleanly across surah boundaries (Al-Mursalat starting mid-page after Al-Insan, etc.).
- Right-to-left page swipes: Swipe like you're turning a real mushaf — right to advance, left to go back.
- Ayah of the Day on Khaza'in too. The daily-pick pill now lives on Khaza'in as well as Home, so you can grab today's ayah from either tab.

Build 4.0 (28) — Mushaf Highlight Preview + branch bugfixes:
NEW: Show on Mushaf page (Juz 29–30)
- When you play any ayah from Juz 29 or Juz 30 (Al-Mulk 67
through An-Nas 114), open the full-screen Player.
- A new "Show on Mushaf page" pill appears under the
translation card. Tap it → the actual mushaf page opens
with a soft-green highlight sliding along the current ayah
as recitation advances.
- Auto-flips between pages as playback crosses page
boundaries. Works with Hifz Playlist queues that jump
across surahs (Ash-Shams → Al-Mulk → Al-Jinn all follow).
- Bottom toolbar: Play/Pause, Stop, Speed (tap or long-press
for presets). Cropped/Full toggle bottom-right — Cropped
is default and hides the word-gloss sidebar.
- Rotate to landscape for a fit-to-width scrolling view. Tap
the page to hide the chrome for immersive reading; tap
again to bring it back.
BUG FIXES:
- Mini-player tap now reliably re-opens the full-screen
Player (was silently failing on some Coach / Muraja'ah
flows).
- Muraja'ah no longer reverts your default surah to
Al-Fatihah for guest / activation users.
- Bismillah opener no longer repeats before every rep of a
partial-surah range (e.g., Al-Mutaffifin 3–8 × 5 passes
now plays Bismillah once at the start, not 5 times).
- Same fix in Coach Muraja'ah / Juz Haali — Bismillah at
each surah boundary but not on every rep inside a surah.

**What's New in Hifz Musaa'id**
Big release — a new My Certifications module, cross-device sync, ornate certificates you can share, and polish across every corner of your daily practice.
**My Certifications (New)**
A dedicated Khaza'in tile for the milestones on your Hifz journey. Eleven-level Marhala ladder starting with Al-Fatihah, Al-Balad, and Al-Inshiqaq, then Marhala Ula through Sabea, up to Huffaz. Every goal you complete on Hifz Coach also appears here as its own certificate.
Each certificate is a full ornate poster you can view and share — Bismillah in KFGQPC Uthmani script, bilingual title, level band, blessing prayer, and a circular seal. Dates render in both Gregorian and the Misri Hijri calendar (شهر محرم الحرام, صفر المظفّر, and so on). Enter completion dates for milestones you finished before the app; earning a higher level automatically credits every level below.
**Hifz Coach**
- Your profile Goal (Al-Mulk, Juz 29, Whole Quran, etc.) now reads as your Top Goal. Each day's Jadeed target reads as a sub-goal rolling up to it.
- Every goal is logged as Goal #1, Goal #2, and so on with start and completion dates.
- Your Plan card is collapsible with the Edit button in the header.
- Projected completion date is auto-calculated from your pace — no manual target date to set.
- New Hifz Journey card shows total memorization as a percent of the whole Quran, measured by Madani Mushaf pages (604) for a truer picture of effort than ayah counts alone.
**Daily ritual**
- Opening Dua appears as the first segment and plays first when you tap Play whole ritual.
- Bismillah is now inserted before each new surah in Juz Haali and Murajaah, with the traditional exception for Surah At-Tawbah (a prompt offers Al-Kawthar as an alternative opener).
- Playback resumes from where you left off after a phone call or app close.
- Screen stays awake while playing.
- Player header and ayah counter correctly reflect Juz Haali and Murajaah segments (a fix — they used to read "Jadeed").
JazakumAllahu Khayran for using Hifz Musaa'id. Feedback shapes the next release — please share yours.
---
**If you want a shorter version** for a minor point release, cut the "Polish" bucket and the "Edit Plan" bucket — brings it under 2,000 characters and keeps the four marquee items (Certifications, Cloud Sync, Hifz Coach, Ritual).
**App Review reminder** since this is a version that requires sign-in for the Hifz Coach hub: make sure the App Review Information → Sign-in Information field has a working test account credential, otherwise reviewers get stuck at the gate and reject the build.
3.039 Jul 14
Cloud Sync (New)
- Your plan, goal history, playback stats, and streaks now back up automatically to your account. Sign in on any device and pick up exactly where you left off.

- Choose a goal: Juz 30, Juz 30–27, whole Quran, or specific surahs.
- Set the traversal order — reverse mushaf, forward mushaf, juz-by-juz, or manual custom order.
- Configurable Jadeed reps per ayah: 5, 10, 20, 40, 80, or a custom number.
- New "Mark today's Jadeed sub-goal done" confirmation so the plan doesn't quietly move on without you.
Top Goal + Sub-Goals
- Your profile Goal (Al-Mulk, Juz 29, whole Quran, and so on) now reads as your Top Goal.
- Each day's Jadeed target reads as a sub-goal rolling up to that Top Goal — the hierarchy is visible on the Plan card.
- Live progress bar with % completion. Hit 100% and unlock a celebration state with a "Pick a new goal" prompt.
- Every goal is logged as Goal #1, Goal #2, and so on, with start and completion dates. The app will use this to show your streak of finished goals and average time to complete in future updates.

What's New in 2.5.3
- A polished Settings experience and some thoughtful tidying.
- Settings refresh. Account now sits at the top of the screen, with a new Plan & Activation row inside it — your tier, your code, and the path to manage either, all in one tap.
- Each section, its own home. Preferences, Media Manager, Guided Tour, and Send Feedback each get their own dedicated section now. Easier to scan, faster to reach.
- Clearer Preferences subtitle — now reads "Surah, Qari, Audio defaults and more…" so what's inside is obvious at a glance.
- BETA tags on Tasmi Tracker and Du'as on the Khaza'in dashboard. Both features remain fully usable — the pill is there to set expectations while we polish the last few rough edges.
- Bug fixes. The Begin Practice icon on Ayah Breakdown now renders correctly, the Plan & Activation row in Settings is properly aligned with the rest of the Account card, and a couple of cold-launch glitches were quieted down.

* Email reports for parents with one-tap "Mark as Reviewed" link. Reviewed sessions show up acknowledged in the app.

2.3.1 May 26
Tasmi Tracker is now built into Hifz Musaa'id (Pro feature).
A complete Hifz tracking surface for teachers and parents, organized around the Marhala curriculum (L1 through Hafiz).
What you can do:
- Add students and set their Marhala level — each level shows exactly which Juz it covers.
- Curate the surahs each student has learned within their Marhala.
- Start a grading session and tap a face emoji per ayah — smile for Good, neutral for Fair, sad for Poor.
- Submit to score the session automatically and email both parents a summary with a link to mark it as reviewed.
- Run Ikhtebaar (إِخْتِبَار) drills — exam-style sessions that sample weak ayahs from recent grades using a 40% Poor / 30% Fair / 30% Good mix that randomizes each run.
Reports & Scorecard:
- View Reports rolls up every submitted session across all your students, grouped by date, with per-ayah Good / Fair / Poor drill-downs.
- Scorecard heatmap now defaults to each student's Marhala curriculum instead of the full Mushaf. Tap the count tiles to see exactly which ayahs are weak.
Tours, when you need them:
- Tap the ? icon at the top of any tab for a guided walkthrough — Jadeed, Muraja'ah, Tasmi Tracker, and Settings each have their own.
Plus polish across Jadeed, Muraja'ah, and Settings.
