Two quick improvements from your feedback on 1.17: • Live location, front and center. When someone shares their live location with you, a banner now appears at the top of your Feed the moment it starts, so it's impossible to miss. Tap it to jump straight to their live map. It disappears on its own when their ride ends. Live shares are still available from your profile too. • Change sharing mid ride. A new settings button on the tracking map lets you turn Share with Safety Contacts and Share with Circle on or off without stopping your ride. Handy when plans change or you decide to go quiet for a stretch. Changes apply to the current ride only. Ride safe, and we'll see you out there.

Your Riding Circle is here! Add the riders you trust to your Circle, and once they add you back, you see each other on your tracking maps whenever you're both out riding. No links to send, no notifications, no coordination. Tap a friend's avatar to see how far away they are and how fast they're going, send them a wave to ask if they want to meet up (they can answer yes or not right now from their own map), or tap Navigate to Them and follow a live route to their position. The route updates as they move, stops when you get close so you can spot each other, and quietly steps aside once you're riding together. Also new in 1.17: • Out Riding Now: the Start Ride screen shows which Circle friends are already out, and the riders panel lists everyone on your map, group ride or not. • Two sharing switches before you ride: one for your safety contacts and one for your Circle, so it's easy to slip out solo. • Manage your Circle right from the Friends screen in Community, with one tap to add anyone you follow. • Route folders: group your saved routes however you like, such as everything for an upcoming trip. • Live location sharing now updates every 5 seconds, so friends watching your ride see smooth movement instead of jumps. • Events can now span multiple days, perfect for a weekend campout. RSVPs and group rides stay open through the last day. • Past events are now read only. No more accidentally joining last month's ride. • Checkpoint hunts survive an app crash on solo rides, so a recovered ride keeps scoring. Ride safe, and we'll see you out there.

Make the hunt your own. Checkpoint events just got a planning game: tap an event's route to see the checkpoints on a full map, then hit "Plan my route" to build your own line through them in the route builder. Ride your route on event day — solo or leading a group — and your captures still count on the shared leaderboard. The best line wins. Club events, front and center. Events happening today or tomorrow now appear right in your home feed with a one-tap Going RSVP. The club calendar is interactive — tap any day to see what's planned, or create an event for an empty day on the spot. New events announce themselves in the club's posts feed, and the event page now shows every group ride rolling out so you can jump in with friends or start your own. Ride together, compare after. Tap any rider in a completed group ride to open their version of the ride — their stats, their checkpoints, their story of the same day. Also in this release: clearer event pages with a single Going RSVP, checkpoint hunt standings that explain how to get on the board, tapping a rider's name in your feed now opens their profile, event comment notifications take you straight to the event, share image fixes for light-mode devices, and plenty of polish throughout.

Share your rides in style. All-new share cards put your route glowing on a dark map with your stats front and center — in feed (4:5) and story (9:16) sizes. Multi-day trips get their own card with total distance, days, and every day's route on one map. Your ride can wait — the app doesn't have to. Pause mid-ride and use the whole app: post to your club, check a route, peek at a leaderboard. A persistent banner takes you back to your ride in one tap. Club events, leveled up. Club events now support routes, checkpoint hunts with per-event leaderboards, recurring schedules with RSVPs, and comments — and the host can start the group ride straight from the event page. Also in this release: live group checkpoint standings on the ride screen, a streamlined ride-save flow, refreshed look across the app, a better welcome for first-time riders, clearer lean-angle accuracy notices, and fixes for sign-in onboarding and checkpoint route previews.

Checkpoints are here! Drop collectible checkpoints on any route — riders passing through claim them automatically, complete with points, progress, and bragging rights. Make them secret and leave a riddle for a real scavenger hunt. Group rides and events get live leaderboards, so the race is on. Our biggest update yet! EVENTS, YOUR WAY • Private events — invite-only rides and trips that only your invitees can see. Perfect for that camping trip with your crew. • Approval events — publicly discoverable, but riders request to join and you control what's shown (like the exact meeting spot) until you approve them. • Attach routes to any event so everyone knows the way, with invite and request notifications built in. 40 ACHIEVEMENTS • The achievements grid grew from 4 badges to 40 across eight categories — streaks, night rides, rain rides, seasons, group riding, exploring, and more. Tap any badge to see how to earn it, and your past rides count. We will continue to update and improve this system! • Rain detection now checks your entire ride and multiple points along your route — if you rode through it, you earned it. A SMARTER MAP • Search for any destination right from the map page and route builder. • The Routes overlay now shows your own routes and nearby public routes color-coded, with terrain filters and a quick route preview card. • The route builder has a cleaner look with estimated ride times, a tidier toolbar, and clearer start and end markers. • Saved routes now show an estimated ride time based on real road speeds. What's New in 1.11 • Group rides get faces: riders on the live map now show their profile photo, ringed in their rider color. Riders without a photo keep their colored initials. • Garage enhancements: every ride and route in your lists now shows a mini sketch of its actual route, trips show a color-coded map of each day plus real totals ("3 days · 716 mi"), and your bikes display their photos. • The ride calendar in the Garage can now be collapsed, so your ride list is front and center. • Fixed: Garage stats now show your true all-time totals — total rides, distance, time, and speeds are calculated across your entire ride history, not just the rides loaded in the list.

Route navigation gets a big upgrade in 1.8: • Attach, switch, or clear a route mid-ride — a new route button on the tracking map lets you start riding first and pick a route later, or swap routes at any stop • Build a route as you go — tap points on the map mid-ride and the guide line routes through them; keep extending it as you ride, then save it to your Garage when you finish • Add a stop (detour) — following a route and want gas, food, or a viewpoint? Tap the point and the line reroutes you there and back onto your route • Routes now survive crashes and force-closes — resuming a recovered ride brings your guide line right back Also in this update: • Choose your feed cover — pick the route map or a photo when saving or editing rides and trips • Ride and trip cards now show a one-line description preview • Fixed: the app sometimes asked you to save a ride you had already saved

A new Community tab gets two major new features in 1.7: Events for local meetups and Rallies for the big organized gatherings. Events — local meetups near you Discover events near you with a distance filter (25/50/100 miles) so you only see rides within range. RSVP & see who's coming — mark yourself Going or Interested and view the full attendee list. Host your own — add a cover photo, location, and date in seconds; tap a location to open it in your maps app. Recurring events — weekly, biweekly, or monthly meetups (including "2nd Thursday of every month"), with a series end date. Start a group ride from an event — turn a coffee meetup into a real-time group ride with one tap. Clubs can go public — surface club events in the Events tab to reach new riders. Rallies — the big organized events Discover rallies — browse annual and one-off multi-day rallies and gatherings. RSVP and join — register your attendance and see who else is going. Unlock with a code or link — get the full rally details, schedule, and routes via an organizer's access code or magic invite link. Full schedule — see the rally's events and scheduled group rides laid out on one timeline. Roles & approvals — organizers can invite attendees, assign roles, and approve who's in. Better conversations Event comments now support replies and @mentions, just like club and ride comments — tag a friend and they'll get notified. Faster everywhere We rebuilt how the app loads your feed, friends, and clubs. Startup and the home feed are dramatically quicker, and the app uses a lot less data. What's New in 1.5 This update is all about reliability — making sure notifications reach you and group ride interactions work the way they should. Notifications that actually arrive: Fixed an issue where some riders never got prompted to enable notifications and couldn't turn them on afterward. The app now asks for notifications (and location) when you first sign in, so you won't miss club rides, waves, and comments. Group ride waves, fixed: Waving at a group ride now reaches every rider in the group — not just the ones you follow — and wave counts are now accurate. Polish: The "Return to Group Lobby" shortcut now appears closer to your scheduled ride's start time, instead of days early Various stability improvements

What's New in 1.4 Never lose a ride again: If the app is force-closed or crashes mid-ride, your ride is no longer lost. Reopen the app and you'll land right on the save screen with everything recorded up to that point — save it, discard it, or resume riding. New ride privacy levels: Choose who sees each ride: Public (anyone who follows you), Friends (only people you follow back), or Private (just you). Set your default in Settings → Privacy, and adjust any individual ride when you save or edit it. Choose which clubs see your rides: Rides used to appear in every club you belong to. Now you pick exactly which clubs a ride is shared with when you save — or share it with none at all. Group ride improvements: Left a group ride lobby by accident? A new "Return to Group Lobby" button on the ride screen takes you straight back — no more hunting for it (or accidentally creating duplicates!) Rides saved from a group ride now default to the group ride's title A cleaner, reorganized ride screen with less scrolling Bug Fixes: Fixed a bug that could create duplicate accounts during sign-up The garage now shows the correct motorcycle icon for bikes without photos

Club events and scheduled group rides now allow for the input of an address for a meeting location to better help people know where the meetup is happening. Several UI issues have also been resolved and now when clicking on a profile picture it will open it full screen for better viewing.

New auto resume from paused functionality. Never forget to resume a paused ride again with auto resume. This can be toggled on or off from the settings. When a ride is paused, if certain criteria is met (distance + speed) the ride will auto resume. Group riding enhancements. Major improvements to the invite flow for group rides. Invited friends now get notifications that will take them directly to the group ride lobby. Active group rides from friends can be found in the Join Group area. Code joining is still present but is more of a fall back or way to share with non-friends now.
