The App Store page now lists every language Carioca Chile speaks: English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

Maintenance release: updated internals, no gameplay changes. Spanish speakers in Latin America also get a store listing written the Chilean way.

Made for iPhone Duo, half-folded: every screen now splits across the fold. What you watch stands up, what you tap lies flat, with a brass hinge drawn along the crease. Settings, standings, the tutorial and a new shop preview stage all follow, and the closed Duo is now centred around the camera. Half-folded, you can also toss a card by dragging it up to the fold. On iPad, the action buttons are tidier: Undo sits under Sort, and in landscape your hand fits between the piles and the buttons.

A clearer unlock screen: it now lists exactly what the one-time purchase adds and what stays free, and it no longer counts free games you haven't played yet. Carioca Chile is also ready for iPhone Duo, unfolded, half-folded or closed.

Ready for iPhone Duo. Unfolded, Carioca Chile fills the big inner screen with the iPad table. Half-folded like a laptop, your opponents and the deck stand up on top, while your hand, the melds and the buttons sit on the flat half, right under your fingers. Folded shut, the game uses the whole outer screen around the camera. Nothing changes on other iPhones and iPads.

Small update: the store listing now speaks French and Portuguese properly and spells out exactly what is free. Under the hood, app startup and invite links were rebuilt to get ready for the next iOS. No changes to how you play.

Play online, no lobby needed. - Tap "Play online" and you go straight into the queue. As soon as a second player arrives the game starts by itself after a short countdown: standard rules, real people, no computer opponents. - Alone for a minute? Ask to be notified when someone shows up and go do something else, or start a game against the computer instead. - "Alert me when a table opens" now sits right on the Online tab, so you can queue for a notification without waiting at all. - The list of open rooms, Quick Join and public rooms are retired: the queue replaces them. - Joining a friend's room with a code, the online queue and nearby play are always free. Hosting your own private room with a code is now part of the full unlock. - Fixed: after asking to be notified, the app no longer shows "Your game is ready" by mistake, and the main menu no longer reports a player waiting when that table is gone.

The leaderboards now lead with this week. - Weekly Wins, Weekly Best Score and Dailies This Week now sit at the top of the Leaderboards screen. The all-time boards follow below them. - A weekly board resets, so it is the one you can still climb today, and the easiest one to place on.

A fresh start for the Best Score leaderboard. - Best Score has been reset. Until August, games played with custom House Rules could post to it - and a shorter game means a lower score, so those totals sat above honest ones. There was no way to remove them one by one, so the board starts clean. - This means everyone's previous Best Score entries are gone, including your own. Your stats and every other leaderboard are untouched. - From now on only standard nine-round games count, so the board compares like with like.

Never miss an open table again. - The "your game is ready" alert now appears on every screen while you are waiting for an online game - in the shop, in your stats, even in the middle of a solo game. Before, it only showed on the home screen and in the lobby. - It also appears when a table was already open before you started playing, which it used to miss completely. - Tap it to jump straight into the game, or dismiss it and keep waiting - dismissing never cancels your place in the queue.

Never miss a game again! Tap "Alert me when a table opens" in the online lobby, choose how long to wait, and go do something else — we'll send you a notification the moment a table opens. If someone is already waiting when you tap, you host right away instead. A cleaner multiplayer hub: Online and Local tabs, with open games, Quick Join and private rooms all on one page. Every menu now wears the premium dark look of the home screen, and you can share the full game rules with a friend straight from the rules sheet.

Smoother everything. This update is all about feel: - Card animations are now silky smooth - dealing, tossing, laying melds and the multi-card lay all fly without stutter, in solo and multiplayer alike. - Online games feel dramatically better on the joining player's device. - Fixed a flicker when adding a card to a meld on the table. - Picking up your leftmost cards no longer fights the system back-swipe: in a game, swiping back to the menu now only works from the upper left edge, never over your hand.

Your achievements now open inside the game. Tap Achievements on the main menu to see all twelve, each with its own icon, what it takes to earn it, and whether you have it yet, instead of being sent out to the Game Center dashboard. Apple's own view is still one tap away. Three of them (win 10 games, play 100 games, win 3 in a row) now show how far along you are, so you can see what you are chasing. Fixed: after finishing a game, starting a new solo game could ask whether to discard the game you had just completed, and the main menu could still offer to continue it.

The weekly leaderboards are now live: Weekly Wins, Weekly Best Score and Dailies This Week, all resetting every Sunday. Open Leaderboards from the main menu to see where you stand this week, right next to the all-time boards.

Leaderboards now open inside the game. Tap Leaderboards on the main menu to see the top five of every board plus your own rank, without being sent out to the Game Center dashboard. Apple's full ranking for any board is still one tap away. Three weekly leaderboards, all resetting every Sunday: Weekly Wins, Weekly Best Score, and Dailies This Week. Now you can see how you are doing over seven days, not just all time. Score leaderboards now rank only games played with the standard nine rounds and no wagers, so every score on the board means the same thing. Custom House Rules still count toward your wins, and the setup screen tells you before you deal.

Fixes an issue where push notifications - open game alerts and streak, season and weekly reminders - could silently stop arriving after an update or reinstall. The app now refreshes its notification registration automatically. No gameplay changes.
