FocusBite: Pomodoro Timer
Focus for Study & Deep Work
$2.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New in 2.0: see your whole year of focus in an activity grid, and turn your phone into a desk clock. One purchase: no subscription, no ads, no account.
The Pomodoro timer that fights back. Finish a session and your streak grows. Quit early and it resets to zero. One purchase, everything included: no subscription, no ads, no account.
Most focus apps are polite. FocusBite puts something on the line, because you don't stay focused when you should. You stay focused when you don't want to lose.
HOW IT WORKS
• Pick a length: 15, 25, 45 or 60 minutes, or anything from 5 to 180
• Stay to earn points; a longer streak multiplies them
• Give up, and your streak goes back to 0
• Strict mode: leave the app for more than 10 seconds and the session ends. Locking your phone is fine.
• One pause per session, 5 minutes max. No escape hatches.
SEE YOUR YEAR OF FOCUS
• An activity grid shows every day of the past year, one square per day, darkest on the days you hit your goal
• Daily goal ring, streak and points on the Today screen
• Last 7 days, your best time of day, and time per label
• 14 achievements, from Early Bird to Perfect Week
A CLOCK WORTH LOOKING AT
• A glowing particle ring that fills as you focus and bursts when you finish
• Turn your phone sideways for a desk clock: the controls fade, the clock glides to the center, and the screen dims when left alone
• Portrait, landscape or auto, even with rotation lock on
• Three particle themes, eight backgrounds, eight ring colors
BUILT FOR REAL WORK
• Pomodoro breaks: 5 minutes, with a longer 15-minute break every fourth session
• Label sessions: Work, Study, Reading, or your own
• Ambient sounds: lo-fi, rain, brown noise, pink noise. They mix with your own music.
• Notifications when a session ends, plus an optional daily reminder
• Full history, CSV export, and backup and restore
MADE FOR
