1.2.08 3d ago
• New: topics. Articles about the same event are now grouped together, with a badge showing how many sources cover it. Its page brings together the essentials and every source, with a cross-source summary written by Apple Intelligence.
• New: Fusion articles. From a topic's page, Apple Intelligence writes a full article from all its sources, which you can share with a simple link. With Premium, it is written by Apple's model on its secure servers; otherwise, by your iPhone's model.
• Without a subscription, you can now use AI 5 times a day instead of 3, to summarize an article, create a cross-source summary or write a Fusion article.
• OmniFeed now speaks Portuguese and Dutch: the whole app, AI summaries, Fusion articles, audio reading and notifications are available in both languages.
• Cleaner reading: article extraction now does a better job of removing clutter (inserts, "read also" links, miscellaneous notices) on many sources.
• Keyword filters: a blocked keyword now always takes precedence over a followed one. An article containing both is no longer shown or notified.
• The reader toolbar now collapses and reappears smoothly while scrolling.
• Fixed crashes, notably during background feed refresh and when an article was deleted while being read.
• Notifications are now displayed correctly in Italian.
• The catalog now has more than 3,600 sources, in seven languages.
