Small round of bug fixes this time. Nothing glamorous. If you ever scanned a record whose title matches the artist name (Dive, Brick, that kind of thing) and got either an empty result or the wrong album through the whole pipeline, you found a bug that had been quietly festering since the first beta. We were reading the data wrong and the cache was poisoning itself. We now look more carefully and fall back to the master release if individual pressings are missing their tracklist. The Discogs button that sometimes got stuck spinning forever is fixed. In the worst case it waited indefinitely. Now it gives up after 25 seconds and tells you something went wrong. Shazam got a bit lighter on its feet. If a track title was very short, we could accidentally highlight the wrong row in the tracklist. We now require at least four letters for a match to count. Stale state from earlier sessions is also cleared out when you pick something from the list. For genuinely obscure sleeves with no visible text, the app now says so straight up instead of trying to guess. And one iOS specific thing. If Shazam was running while someone called you, the app could end up in choppy waters. We patched that. Thanks if you flagged anything. We are listening.
