Tell it what you love in plain words ("bold Argentine Malbec, funky natural Loire reds, crisp dry Riesling") or just snap a photo of a bottle, and PocketSom curates a list of real, specific wines worth seeking out each with a one-line reason it fits YOUR taste.
The more you use it, the sharper it gets. PocketSom builds a living taste profile a visual map of how you lean across acidity, body, tannin, fruit, oak and funk and a sommelier's read on your palate that evolves as you explore.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Discover a curated feed of bottles matched to your taste, refreshed as your palate grows. Filter by type, sort by match or price.
• Ask the sommelier chat naturally. "What should I drink with steak?" "Something like that Bandol but cheaper?" "Add Foillard Morgon to my favorites." It understands follow-ups and remembers your taste.
• Snap a wine list photographing a restaurant menu or shop shelf and ask "which of these should I get?" even "pick one red under $40." PocketSom reads the list and ranks the best picks for you on taste match and value.
• Keep tasting notes snap the bottle, speak or type what you thought, mark whether you loved it. Each note teaches the app and builds your personal wine journal.
• Build your library heart the wines you've tried and loved, bookmark the ones you want to track down, and ask your Cellar "what should I open tonight?"
WHY POCKETSOM
Most wine apps are databases you have to search. PocketSom is the opposite a companion that learns your taste and does the thinking for you, in a calm, editorial space that feels like a thoughtful wine journal rather than a spreadsheet.
