Sacred Drift v1.27 — a big update since v1.14, with new ways to shape the motion and the sky. NEW DEFAULT SCENE — The app now opens on Deep Cosmos: a slow, cool drift through a faint starfield with a gentle camera orbit. A calm place to land. CAMERA ORBIT BUTTON — A new atom button sits on the controls row. Tap it to start or stop the slow camera orbit; long-press it to set the orbit speed. Turn it off when you want a perfectly still frame. SPEED + GLACIAL — The Speed slider above the controls now has real authority over the composition's motion. Long-press the turtle beside it for Glacial mode — the field nearly stops for a meditative, living-wallpaper pace. The turtle glows green while Glacial is on. A REAL SKY — Stars now live on a sphere around you, so they drift naturally as you orbit the camera. A tunable gradient fades to black overhead and underfoot — no edges, no floor. Set it all in Settings → Sky: gradient colors, horizon height, star quantity, intensity, and variability. SETTINGS — A new gear button opens global preferences (Sky + Camera) that apply across every preset, separate from each scene's own recipe. ROTATION GIZMO — Optional XYZ rings (Settings → Camera) appear while you interact. Tap a ring to select an axis, then drag to rotate the whole field around it. SEQUENCE MODE — A new play button cycles slowly through every preset with a fade-to-black between each — an ambient slideshow. Tune the interval and slow-down in Settings. MORE MOTION — Three new strange attractors join the catalog: Rössler, Sprott-B, and Chen. Each motion mode also exposes its own signature parameter in the Motion tab. LANDSCAPE — iPhone now supports landscape orientation. READABILITY — Cleaner, higher-contrast controls, including easier-to-read settings switches. No ads, no in-app purchases. Optimized for iPhone 12 and newer, and iPad.

Sacred Drift v1.14 — major polish since v1.0: EDITOR — Tap the three-slider icon (in the row of three buttons just above the main icon row) to open the parameter editor. It appears as a half-height sheet with four tabs across the top: Particles, Motion, Look, and Shape. Each tab is short and fits the sheet without scrolling. A reset-to-preset button sits in the toolbar. QUICK CONTROLS — A row of three buttons sits just above the main icon row: Pause (the || icon) freezes the simulation; Restart (the counterclockwise arrow) replays from t=0 with the same seed; Edit (the three-slider icon) opens the editor described above. CAMERA — Two-finger twist rotates the camera around the look axis. Double-tap the canvas to reset the angle. Camera pose is saved with each favorite. NEW VISUAL CAPABILITIES • Multi-layer rendering — Shape tab → "Layered depth" toggle. Three depth tiers for a 3D feel. • Four confinement shapes — Shape tab → Shape picker: torus ring, polygon tube, galaxy spiral, merkaba star. • Symmetry + mirror — Shape tab: 1–12 rotational copies plus optional H/V mirrors. • Density-grid attraction — Motion tab → Attraction (active in drift mode). Particles cluster where particles already are. • Repulsor — Particles tab → Repulsor section.
